Brittany Nicole Waters and David Charles Tucker were united in marriage on Saturday, July 9, 2016 at 6:30 p.m. at Whitehurst Lake House in Washington, NC. Sam Gee officiated the double-ring ceremony. The bride was escorted by her father, Maxwell Thomas Waters, Jr. A dinner and dance reception was held following the ceremony.
The bride is the daughter of Maxwell Waters and Wanda Waters of Grifton. She is the granddaughter of Marjorie Harrington and the late Boyce Harrington and the late Rosa and Mack Waters of Grifton.
The groom is the son of Charles Tucker of Tarboro and Wendy Tucker of Greenville. He is the grandson of Lila McLawhorn and the late Jerry McLawhorn of Greenville and the late Gene and Pauline Tucker of Tarboro.
Bridesmaids were Kaylee Stuckey, Ashdon Little, Steffani Letchworth, Lindsey Stalls, Brittany Elks and Kerri Scott. Flower girls were Stella Tucker and Katelyn Gee and ring bearer, Gray Elks. Best man was Charles Tucker. Groomsmen were Matthew Elks, Mark Scott, Justin Elks, Lee Elks, Brian Little and Preston Elks.
The rehearsal dinner, hosted by the parents of the groom, was held at Whitehurst Lake House. A bridal luncheon was held at On The Waterfront in Washington, NC on June 26, 2016.
The bride graduated from East Carolina University with a degree of Bachelors of Science in Nursing and is employed by Gastroenterology East and Endoscopy Center in Greenville, NC. The groom is a self-employed farmer with Charles Tucker & Son Farms in Pitt County.
After a honeymoon trip to Riviera Maya, Mexico the couple will beside in Tarboro, NC.
