Brooke Banson and Christopher Vallely were united in marriage on Saturday, November 19 at 3:30 p.m. in Wilmington, NC. Elizabeth Pollard Semple officiated the double-ring ceremony. The bride was escorted by her brother, Nicola Pontarelli. A dinner and dance reception at Coastline Conference & Event Center followed the ceremony.
The bride is the daughter of Sheila York Banson of Winterville and the late Thomas Banson. She is the granddaughter of the late Cecil and Rosemary York and the late Angel and Edith Banson.
The groom is the son of John Vallely of West Chicago, IL and Connie Vallely of Elgin, IL. He is the grandson of Patricia Vallely and the late Donald Vallely and Paul and Evelyn Steele.
Rachel Bridgers of Winterville was Matron of Honor and Janele Krzywicki of Lehigh, PA was Maid of Honor. Bridesmaids were Kimberly Giardino of Raleigh; nieces Kristy Bradley and Sarah Murray of Philadelphia; and sister-in-laws Ashely Vallely of Woodstock and Jennifer Burton of Indianapolis. Jaime Fagan Bryant of Holly Springs was greeter. Flower girls were the couples daughter Charley Rose Vallely and niece Addison Burton. The best man was Heraclio Mora of Elgin, and groomsmen were Patrick Sampson and Douglas Zabran of Elgin, Brian Burton of Indianapolis, and Jason Bridgers and Nicola Pontarelli of Winterville. Hunter Burton, the couples nephew, served as ring bearer.
The rehearsal dinner, hosted by the parents of the groom, was held at The Oceanic in Wrightsville Beach.
The bride graduated from East Carolina University with a degree of Bachelors of Arts in Communication and is a director with Girl Scouts NC Coastal Pines. The groom is an IMSA Racing Mechanic with Stevenson Motorsports.
After a honeymoon trip to Jamaica, the couple will reside in Wilmington.
