Meredith Lynn Perdue and Robert Anthony Davis were united in marriage on November 25, 2017 at 4 o’clock at Christ United Methodist Church in Chapel Hill.
Pastor David Goehring officiated the double-ring ceremony. The bride was escorted by her father.
The bride is the daughter of Dr. and Mrs. Philip (Tamara) Sutherland Perdue, Jr. of Greenville, NC. She is the granddaughter of Reverends Eleanor Hartman and Calvin Malefyt of Greenville, NC.
The groom is the son of Mr. and Mrs. Roberto (Debra) Antonio Davis of Cary, NC. He is the grandson of Mr. and Mrs. Alberto Augusto Davis of Tampa, Fl. and Mrs. Harriet Hoffman Harvey of Savannah, Ga.
Maid of honor was Lauren Burgess Perdue, sister of the bride, of Charlotte, NC.
Bridesmaids were Carolyn Elizabeth Davis, Erin Michelle Gray, Hannah Karine Lee, Katelyn Houmard Sanderson, and Madison Johnson Auwers Bissette.
Best Man was Roberto Antonio Davis, father of the groom. Groomsmen were Brian Patrick Davis, Christopher Daniel Berry, Jeremy Daniel Miller, Philip Sutherland Perdue III, and William Michael Huggins.
Greeters were Hannah Marie Mosby and Hope Lin Mosby, cousins of the bride.
A reception was held at Fearrington Village in Pittsboro, NC.
An engagement party was held at the home of Mr. and Mrs. Chris Komelasky in Chapel Hill, NC. A shower was held at the home of Dr. and Mrs. Hale Stephenson of Greenville, NC.
The bride graduated from the University of Virginia in Charlottesville with a BA in Biology and Religious Studies. She is currently a fourth year dental student at UNC, Chapel Hill.
The groom graduated from the Kenan-Flagler Business School at the University of North Carolina Chapel Hill with a BS in Business Administration. He is currently a fourth year dental student at UNC, Chapel Hill.
After a honeymoon in Thailand, the couple will reside in Chapel Hill, NC.
