Dec. 7 Bless Your Heart
Thursday, December 7, 2017
Bless your heart to all the farmers working long hours to feed us. They do not get the recognition they deserve. Thank you!
BYH, every now and then it is good to stop climbing and just enjoy the view right from where you are.
BYH to Bless your heart children who have to stand. Give me a break, the poor little snowflakes. We had wait for the school bus wearing knee-length skirts in 14-degree snowy weather. We were the original frozen little snow flakes.
BYH, music is love.
BYH to moody teenagers. If you've got problems tell your family members please! Don't be disrespecting us. One day you will be our age and wish you had told us!
Bless my heart, I almost had a psychic girlfriend, but she broke up with me before we met.
I had a relative who carried a huge mailbag from door to door back in the day. Bless the Heart of the lazy mail carrier that won't even climb our steps. He just throws the package up on the porch and trudges back to his mail truck. You know, some people get packages that are fragile or expensive or health care related items.
Bless your heart, Pitt County schools. How can a lockdown be classified as "modified?" Teachers don't train for a "modified" lockdown — we train for what it is. A lockdown is exactly that!
Oh, well, animals had a good run on this planet. We are in the middle of earth’s sixth mass extinction. I'm sorry, God. Bless our heart?
So, who gets to draw the line between "sex sells" and "inappropriate sexual behavior"?
BYH, I wholeheartedly agree with FDR who said "Government by organized money is just as dangerous as government by organized mob.”
BYH, Planters Walk. The DOT plans for widening 14th Street include a concrete median in front of our neighborhood preventing a left turn to get on 14th Street. A middle turn lane is a much better option instead of having to make a U-turn at the stop light at York Road. How do we contact DOT?
A big bless your heart and congratulations to Lincoln Riley, Ruffin McNeil and the Oklahoma Sooners for winning the conference title. We were lucky to have had you here at ECU while we did, and Greenville will be cheering for you in the national championship games!
I won't bless the people who take care of the death certificates. Why do they take so long to get when they are needed to take care of many things when they come due? Also why does Pitt County charge for certified death certificates for veterans when other counties give two for free?
BYH, measure your wealth not by what you have, but by how you share it.
It's MUELLER Time!
