100 times BYH to my beautiful substitute mail carrier who delivered today's mail, but not the last few days' mail, until I told her I was expecting a much needed check to pay my mortgage; then she came back two hours later with the rest of my mail, including the desperately needed check. What a sweetheart!
No BYH Greenville City Council; a $20,000 dollar student housing study and then you vote a “no” to implement findings. You are a waste of time and valuable resources!
BYH to Greenville City Council: I could have given you a report on the saturation of student housing myself. I only would have charged you $20 and a pizza.
BYH to the writer praising Trump's decision to open up our waters to offshore drilling. He says we should make use of what nature has given us. Well, that's what a generation of fishermen were trying to do before BP dumped millions of gallons of oil into the Gulf of Mexico. Will our fishermen fare any better?
Bless your heart to people that that don't seem to understand that Pitt County does not own any roads. Roads and their sidewalks belong to the state and the city.
BYH to all the municipal employees who worked so hard removing snow from our roadways, and shame on the ones writing in to complain about them from the comfort of your warm homes.
A bigger BYH to the pizza delivery person who was robbed by a 10-year-old and 12-year-old with semi automatic handgun and shotgun, Greenville citizens being held hostage by unsupervised juveniles and an appeasing judicial system.
California has fires, floods, mudslides, earthquakes and L.A. has no water source; water has to be brought in from the mountains. Real estate prices are very high and so are the property taxes. Why do people live there?
A big BYH to anyone who can tell me why Greenville does not have a YMCA.
BYH to all who do not know that it is right turn on red after a complete stop, key words being “complete stop.”
BYH to the Confederate flag questioner. I was born and raised in N.C. — a “Southern Belle.” To me, the Confederate flag is a historic symbol. It is appropriate in museums or history books or historic parks. The circumstances must be remembered, but it is history. Please understand that most Southerners have allegiance to the Stars and Stripes.
BYH ECU — the #MeToo movement is coming soon. The good old boy ways and lack of acknowledging the hard work, great ideas and leadership of the female faculty need to end. Take a look in the mirror — whose idea are you stealing and claiming as your own today?
BYH, you cannot force someone to comprehend a message they are not ready to receive. Still, never underestimate the power of planting a seed.
