A big BYH to those people who like to play with their phones in the theater. It’s really annoying and distracting. Plus you pay $9 to see a movie and play with your phone?
The Republicans blame the Democrats and the Democrats blame the Republicans and the President for the government shutdown. The real people to blame are ourselves, the American people. Every election we keep voting the same people in year after year after year. Politicians in office for 20, 30, 40 years! Blame yourselves.
BYH ECU! What's up with buying a chancellor's residence away from campus and costing $1.3 million? It used to be that the ECU chancellor would host events where ECU staff and faculty could walk to their home for gatherings. Is this another step for the rich to get richer and the poor to get poorer?
BYH to all the people spreading hate about ECU these days. I doubt all the haters have all the accurate facts.
Regarding the person who wrote in Bless Your Heart on Saturday about old people versus young ... I know plenty of old people who can use computers. I am 80 years old and I can use my computer and my iPhone. I am typing on mine right now. I, for one, think young people can provide valuable contributions, but the old can also. Young people are better with the technology than the old, but the old have experience that the young won't have until they are old.
BYH to the City of Greenville that spent $20,000 for someone to tell them that the student housing market was saturated, but didn’t mind selling the Public Safety building’s parking lot to someone to build student housing.
BYH to Blake Shelton fans. I am responding to the recent post in Bless Your Heart. If ECU is not who to call regarding a refund, will someone please let us all know who the promotion company is and how we can contact them. Refunds are in order. Somebody has to do do something about this. There is a lot of money that was spent on this concert that never took place.
BYH to all the uninformed citizens of Greenville. City departments or employees don't decide if kayaks or science centers go in at the Town Common. The City Council does. So either attend a council meeting or watch it on TV before you speak of which you know nothing.
I have an idea: use the fines from Greenville traffic cameras to pay for cameras on school bus stop arms and bus interiors! Bless my heart, that took about 30 seconds to figure out. Next big problem?
How important are school bus cameras to overall safety? Safety not so much, indoctrinating children in the fact big brother will always be watching, priceless.
BYH, if you think there is a free market, try and start a cable company.
