BYH to the organizers of the Town Common Concert. My family and I had a great time and appreciate everyone involved in putting this event together! Thank you for trying something new, it seemed to be a big hit! We look forward to the next one.
BYH to “been there, doing that.” Really? You consider paying $37 a month (retired state employees) as paying for your insurance? Why do you feel the need to explain a benefit you earned, but more so, why try to misinform people to anchor your defense? Trust me, $37 a month in insurance dollars is free.
To the comment about teacher’s health insurance. My 70/30 state insurance doesn’t cost me a dime. If you have 80/20, then that’s why you have to pay. That’s your choice. I might add.
BYH to Bill Clark Homes for building developments with sidewalks on just one side of the road that connect to nothing. So how is it we are suppose to cross the street or walk on the other side? This is like having a toilet without any pumping. Please finish building sidewalks on both sides.
BYH to the county's new Walk with a Doc program. It is great that you're encouraging people to be healthier and active but at the same time Pitt County refuses to build or pay any percentage for any sidewalks on NCDOT projects. Does the left foot know what the right one is doing here? Hypocritical, if you ask me about Pitt County.
What is up with all these college fraternities? In my day we ate live goldfish and had panty raids. And the panties thrown had more silk than the parachutes we later got in the Army. Have times changed for better or worse?
BYH to the writer who feels that the president is being unfairly criticized and his agenda obstructed. Is there any faint recollection or acknowledgment of the dozens of ACA repeals passed by the House or the obstruction of his Supreme Court nomination? Just so readers understand any bias, did you support or criticize that political maneuvering?
A large bless your heart to the Daily Reflector. Don't you think it's a shame that a student athlete throws a perfect game at South Central, but fails to be mentioned in the Daily Reflector because he does not attend Rose High?
BYH Mayor Connelly for the letter to the editor recognizing Greenville City employees. We thank you for the letter of support and we appreciate your positive reinforcement of the City employees in Greenville. You have assembled a great staff at the city offices and you make it a pleasure to come to work each day. We want to take the time to thank you for your public service to our city.
Bless the heart of whoever dumped rocks all over West Fifth and Pitt streets. Please send a street sweeper!
