BYH to the Traffic Safety Task Force, ECU and Greenville Public Works for evaluating the need for a rapid flashing beacon for the crosswalk on Charles. The new delineators around town are great too!
Bless your heart to the ECU fan who believes the football team should play more losing teams to improve their record. Six-win teams are mediocre at best. This year ECU beat the last-place team in the ACC and the last-place team in the AAC. They came close to losing to a Div. 2 team. Using your system, ECU should play the NCSHAA 4AA schools to get a winning record.
Bless the hearts of the 14,000 GM workers who were just laid off, just in time for Christmas. Trump: "How do you like me now?"
BYH to the City of Greenville and the Recreation and Parks Department. I see the extreme park is in the works, but what happened to the east side park? This park was planned years ago and there has been no progress by the City of Greenville to develop it. How about placing other projects on hold until you fulfill your commitment to the east side residents of Greenville?
BYH to N.C. You are among some of the states that require winners of the big lottery to be shown. Someone could be in danger because of a winning. People should have a say if they want it advertised or not.
No BYH to the person who commented they have never purposely put their child in danger by attending a violent protest at a national border. Do you think for one second those seeking asylum want their children exposed to violence? Do you not understand they are fleeing from poverty and violence? Please do the world a favor by educating yourself before trying to pass judgment.
A BYH to those who let teenagers rule the house. Shouldn’t it be the other way around? They’re still children.
BYH to the person who said too many people don’t know when to put up their Christmas tree, that they shouldn’t be up before the first day of Advent. How boring can that be?
BYH to the Humber House along Fifth Street in front of Winslow’s. It could sure use a pressure wash or soft wash of some kind. Looking a little rough these days.
BYH to the Park Theater and The Farmers Market on Dickinson Avenue. I am so ready to buy fresh fruit and vegetables and then go hear a good band while drinking a cold one. Please don’t taunt us anymore with your opening soon signs. We are ready. Greenville is ready — bring it on!
BYH to everyone this Christmas: Christmas is a time of joy. We need to slow down and enjoy the season. We need to stop rushing, pushing and worrying about buying. Christmas is for celebrating family, friends and especially the birth of Christ. Let us never forget this!
