Dec. 1 Bless Your Heart

A big “thank you” to Mr. Jeff at Eastern Elementary! You run the best morning drop-off and your presence in the office makes me feel safe for my kids. All schools need a Mr. Jeff!
A long overdue BYH to nurses Jan and Brian and staff on Vidant 3 East. Your caring and professional manner made a very stressful situation for my husband and myself easier to handle — from the nurses to the housekeeping. Everyone needs a pat on the back and Vidant should be very proud to have you on their team. So thanks from the skeleton on Halloween.
BYH Scottie — sorry to see you go. Maybe you can stay for awhile in the chancellor’s mansion. It should be empty shortly.
BYH city ordinance department. It is obvious you are not aware that there is a code regarding parking cars on your front lawn. How about following up on that and start writing tickets?
BYH, the next time your wife gets angry, just drape a towel over her shoulders and say, “Now you're super angry.” Maybe she'll laugh. Maybe you'll die.
As a goodwill gesture, Pitt County Chamber of Commerce should put signs up in Wilson and Washington letting potential Greenville visitors know they should fill up before arriving in Greenville.
BYH, Gary Weaver. I saw five of your political signs on the way to work today — three weeks after the election.
BYH to the person passing out flyers comparing Santa with Satan. I agree that capitalism and commercialism have stolen the religious meaning from Christmas for most of the masses, but remember that the Christians stole this holiday celebration from the pagans. Let the masses go into greater debt chasing materialistic wealth and tell stories about elves and the elderly with magical powers.
No bless their hearts, the Trump administration will allow citizens and companies to start staking claims on sections of the Bears Ears and Grand Staircase-Escalante national monuments in Utah so the new stakeholders can conduct hard rock mining on the formerly protected lands. What kind of demonoids are running this asylum?
No bless your heart to the latest Trump bashers over GM closing unprofitable car assembly lines to concentrate on more profitable autos and trucks. That's the nature of business. No one is guaranteed a job for life anymore. That business model of unions dictating that workers continue in a job that is no longer needed or sustainable is over.
BYH to our country's draconian immigration policies that dehumanize fellow children of God. We talk about being a Christian nation and, as we Christians celebrate the birth of Christ this season, we should take to heart the Bible's core message of loving our neighbors as we love ourselves.
