BYH to the lady who paid for my breakfast in the drive-through line. It happened just when I was losing my faith in humanity and good deeds. Tried to pay it forward, but she had already paid for the next customer too!

Last week I had to renew my drivers license. I went to the DMV office out by Arlington and Greenville boulevards, where I had an appointment. The people there were all very helpful and charming. I was in and out in no time. My best experience at DMV ever! BYH to Station 10!

BYH to the state legislators for finally wising up and proposing a bill to ban dangerous distracted drivers who operate their cars while paying attention to the phones. It is long overdue and I'm thrilled to see N.C. consider joining the many states that already ban this.

Thank you, Mayor Connelly, for being the voice of reason for our stormwater issue. As someone that cares deeply about our stormwater infrastructure, it's not fair to over tax the citizens to make up for the shortfalls.

What's up with the theater downtown? Are you not going to fix the exterior of the building? I get the impression that you ran out of money and couldn't finish the project.

BYH, President Vladimir Putin is seriously the worst president since Dick Cheney.

BYH, watch out who you trust. Even the devil was once an angel.

I did not like President Obama. I did not hate President Obama either. He was our president and I lived with it. Now it’s time for the other side to come to grips with reality. President Trump will not be there forever so enjoy the economy while it’s great.

Well, well, well, looks like we'll be another year behind with economic development because of the shortsightedness of the county. The good news is that they're up for re-election in 2020 — change is a comin'!

If you take out the votes of California and New York, President Trump won the popular vote by 2,050,899. The electoral college prevents 48 states being ruled by two!

BYH to my husband for getting involved with the growing exercise and sport of cycling. I love you and your new commitment to getting in shape by riding a bicycle in our area for shopping, work and fun. Please be careful because not everyone shares the road as well as you do and your strong legs are becoming a cute distraction again.

A no BYH to these drivers on N.C. 33 West who get to blow their horn at you for pulling out of your own driveway. Slow down! That is extremely rude — flying down the road like that.

The future looks bright. Free health care, free college, guaranteed income, abortions any time, social justice for all, total government control, electric cars, high speed rail, no cows. Glorious.

BYH to nice people. Thank you for being nice.
