BYH to the person who thinks Greenville is so crime-free! Have you seen the daily jailbird photos in the paper, the break-ins and theft columns? Pah-lease!
BTH of the soul that can recommend a car with a wide enough wheelbase to evade the new "speed cushions" (aka chassis rocks) on Fifth Street.
Bless your heart for thinking Allen Thomas would be nonpartisan as a congressman. Anyone that has met him knows that he only cares about one person and that's the person in the mirror, or selfie in his case.
Anyone that gives up a six-figure salary to run for congress is a complete fool or you just have a history of being unemployed.
I really wish we had a real conservative from Pitt County to run for congress, Walter Jones was a model and it seems as if we are entering amateur hour.
BYH, why have nepotism laws at all if we don't enforce them? If it was President Hillary who granted top secret security clearance for Chelsea over the objections of White House officials, Republican heads would explode.
Last night I attended the State of the District in our uptown and was blown away by the tremendous growth and business expansion happening in our urban core. Greenville's leadership is to thank for this trajectory.
I like the idea of a minor league baseball team in Greenville. My sons and I enjoy attending the Pirate games but it abruptly ends in June when their season is over. Come on Mayor Connelly work your magic!
BYH to the person asking for help with unwanted robocalls, scams and telemarketers. I feel your pain. Here is a simple solution: The Federal Trade Commission has a website —www.complaints.donotcall.gov. Read the first page then click continue. Fill out the form on the next page and report the number, date and time you received the call. Good luck.
Bless our hearts — Love and hate cannot be legislated.
BYH to professional golfers. I just have a little hint — the longer you deliberate on how to hit your shot out of the rough, the taller the grass grows. Speed it up fellas!
BYH: To the having a special day for women. The most respected woman is a mother. One who puts raising and caring for her children and family above everything else. There is no greater job for a woman than that of a mother.
BYH to all Americans. It is sad that our representatives in Washington, D.C., act like spoiled bracts. We need to have terms set for each position (4 years). This will keep us from having "lifelong do-nothings" in Washington. It is time for a change on how we should run our government.
Just when you think America couldn’t get any dumber, another Madea movie makes its debut. Bless our hearts.
