I see the Mayor is getting out his signs again this year. This is a welcome sight because he deserves another term for...

May 19 Bless Your Heart

BYH, for Christmas I got a humidifier and a de-humidifier, so I put them in the same room and let them fight it out.

BYH to the Dems, I hear they are planning a 12-hour public reading of the Mueller report. News Flash, nobody cares! It's over. Get a life.

BYH to the Winterville town councilors and ctaff who support smart growth. Greenways are part of every great city. Likewise, good infrastructure. We need both, not one or the other. Wish more folks understood that basic concept.

Bless your heart Pitt County. How does a department head get away with cussing at his employees and still keep his job? Maybe the commissioners need to have some discussions with the employees.

BYH to the person that asked "what would you've done during slavery, the holocaust, or the civil rights movement"? I am doing it right now. I am not giving up my guns and I am resisting socialism from the left. In God we trust!

BYH, if you didn't notice that this world turned on a dime in a seismic way in November of 2016 when Putin installed Trump, then what you will have is what they call a rude awakening.

"If the freedom of speech is taken away, then dumb and silent we may be led, like sheep to the slaughter." — George Washington

Wow, I never knew so many people rode bicycle on the streets here until I saw their massive protest ride. Clearly we need more bike lanes on our streets here because if not, when they ride together, they can own the road! Making all streets have bike lanes will allow us all to use the roads safely at different speeds. Make them even safer by making sidewalks on them and keep the runners and walkers off the streets and safer too!

BYH Democratic Rep. Butterfield for joining the task force to push for rural broadband internet by 2025. You must have copied and pasted your boss Obama's speech back in 2016, except he said this would be in place by 2020. Typical politician. Kick the can down the road.

Great to finally have a mayor of Greenville who will walk the walk (or in this case, bike the bike) to supporting a higher quality of living in Greenville. Thanks for riding with over one hundred cyclists and advocating with us all for better and safer roads for everyone.

If you have something nice and want to keep it that way, put up a fence. John Paul II, build that wall!

Point of order. The ECU transfer to the ball players was only $20 million, not the $29 million figure that was published earlier in BYH. Please don't be giving them any ideas.

BYH, do yourself a favor and get it all off your head a while. You'll thank me later.

BYH, I am scared of German sausages. Yes, I fear the wurst.
