Greenville police are investigating a report that someone may have shot at a man on Southwest Greenville Boulevard on Thursday afternoon.

A 44-year-old man was in a dispute with some people earlier in the day and about 3:30 p.m., as he was walking along Greenville Boulevard near Greenville Nissan, he said he thought one of the individuals fired a gun in his direction, according to Greenville police. Employees at the business said they did not hear any gunshots, but police are reviewing surveillance cameras in the area. The victim was not injured.

“The suspect is described as a heavy black male with short dreads wearing a white shirt with a hoodie,” said Kristin Hunter of the Greenville Police Department.
