Man robs Family Dollar on Memorial Drive

The Greenville Police Department is trying to identify a man who robbed the Family Dollar Store on South Memorial Drive on the morning of Oct. 12, 2017.

A man who implied he had a gun robbed the Family Dollar Store at 2530 S. Memorial Drive Thursday about 11:15 a.m., according to police.

He left the business with an undisclosed amount of cash, and no one was injured. 

The suspect was a white male, about 5 feet 9 inches tall, had a beard and was wearing a burgundy, black and gray hoodie and jeans, according to a news release issued by Greenville police. The case remains under investigation.
