Crime: Poinsettia, bacon, beer stolen from Wal-Mart

Someone stole a poinsettia, bacon, pizza, Doritos and beer from Wal-Mart on Friday, according to a Greenville Police Department case report.

According to the report, the theft occurred at the 4600 E. 10th St. location between 5 p.m. and 9 p.m.

A poinsettia, bacon, pizza, Doritos, Icehouse beer, Corona beer, Bud Light beer, Heineken beer and four colored jackets and T-shirts, all valued at $195.52, were reported stolen.

An investigation is ongoing.

100 block Kristin Drive, 4 p.m. Nov. 17-11 a.m. Nov. 20: break-in reported; back kitchen window of home sustained $100 in damages; case closed/cleared by victim’s refusal to cooperate.

400 N. Memorial Drive, 9 a.m. Nov. 5-9 a.m. Nov. 20: break-in reported at business; fence gate sustained $200 in damages; two exterior air conditioning/heating units valued at $3,500 stolen; investigation ongoing.

300 block St. Andrews Drive, 9:50-9:55 a.m. Nov. 20: rear window of home forced open; nothing listed as stolen; investigation ongoing.

3000 E. 10th St., 9:01-9:15 p.m. Nov. 16: two packs of Newport cigarettes valued at $11.87 stolen from Duck Thru; investigation ongoing.

400 block Pittman Drive, 2 p.m. Nov. 11-4:24 p.m. Nov. 16: WIC book containing five vouchers valued at $150 stolen from vehicle; case closed/leads exhausted.


300 block East 10th Street, 4:20-4:30 p.m. Nov. 20: 29-year-old woman assaulted in parking lot by boyfriend; minor injuries reported; Samsung Galaxy Note 5 cellphone valued at $800 stolen; case inactive; warrants obtained.

1325 Red Banks Road, 12:28 p.m. Nov. 15: female teacher, age not listed, assaulted at school by acquaintance; extent of injury not reported; case closed/cleared by juvenile contact.
