Fire at Cooke printing facility delays paper delivery

Greenville fire fighters hose down remaining hot spots on a semi trailer that caught fire next to the Cooke Communications North Carolina newspaper printing facility. Although the fire did not spread to the facility, smoke from the fire forced the staff to evacuate and caused major delays for the newspapers printed at the facility including; The Daily Reflector, the Rocky Mount Telegram, The Daily Advance, the Wilson Times and the Goldsboro News-Argus.

A fire in a semi trailer parked next to the Cooke Communications printing facility in Greenville caused major delays for the papers printed at the facility. Although the fire, which started about 11:00 p.m. Thursday, did not spread to the facility the smoke from the fire forced the staff to evaculate. 

The facility prints The Daily Reflector, the Rocky Mount Telegram, The Daily Advance, the Wilson Times and the Goldsboro News-Argus newspapers. The Friday edition of all the papers will be late because of the fire.
