The Greenville Police Department is investigating a damage to property case involving sugar.

Someone put sugar into the gas tank of a 2013 Hyundai Sonata that was parked in the 2200 block of Wandsworth Drive between midnight and 11:51 a.m. on Dec. 12.

The car belongs to a 19-year-old woman. Damage was estimated at $100.

Break-ins, thefts

■ 3000 block Satterfield Drive, 8:30 a.m.-6:30 p.m. Dec. 9: iPad Air valued at $599 stolen from home; investigation ongoing.

■ 200 block Airport Road, 8:40-8:45 p.m. Dec. 12: three large boxes of tissues, one remote control car and three game pods, all valued at $42, stolen from woman at convenience store; investigation ongoing.

■ 4600 E. 10th St., 5:45-6:08 p.m. Dec. 12: one hot wing, six DVDs and a charging cable, all valued at $59.79, stolen from Wal-Mart LLC; 17-year-old boy, 19-year-old man and 20-year-old man arrested; each charged with misdemeanor larceny.

■ 300 block East Rountree Drive, 1:33-5:09 p.m. Dec. 12: three seven-inch RCA Voyager tablets valued at $120 stolen from home; investigation ongoing.

■ 100 block Lakeview Terrace, 9 a.m. Dec. 9-9 a.m. Dec. 10: larceny reported; no items listed as stolen; case inactive.

■ 500 block Boxelder Way, 5 p.m. Nov. 21-9 a.m. Dec. 4: MacBook Air valued at $1,500 stolen form home; investigation ongoing.

■ 3101 E. 10th St., 2:15-2:20 p.m. Dec. 12: two containers of pull-up training pants valued at $29.99 stolen from Walgreens; case inactive; warrants obtained.

■ 4420 E. 10th St., 6-6:20 a.m. Dec. 12: front ground window of Hwy 55 restaurant smashed to gain entry; no items listed as stolen; front window pane stustained $200 in damages; investigation ongoing.

■ 2200 block Ione Street, 10:30 p.m. Dec. 11-2:30 a.m. Dec. 12: 2001 Chevrolet pickup truck valued at $8,000 stolen along street; Stihl blower, Troy-Bilt pressure washer and Echo weed eater, all valued at $600, stolen and recovered; 30-year-old man arrested and charged wtih driving while license revoked-not impaired and possession of stolen vehicle.

■ 300 block Line Avenue, 2 p.m. Nov. 29-2:35 p.m. Dec. 11: home break-in reported; no items listed as stolen; two windows broken, $400 in damages; investigation ongoing.

■ 4600 E. 10th St., 5:46-5:58 p.m. Nov. 30: vibration ring, popcorn shrimp cup, deli pizza, two deli Pick 3 buckets and two buckets of deli chicken, all valued at $37.99, stolen from Wal-Mart; case inactive.

■ 1300 block Fairfax Avenue, 7 a.m.-4:30 p.m. Dec. 11: two televisions valued at $600 stolen from home by family member; case inactive.

■ 3040 Evans St., 4:40-4:45 a.m. Dec. 11: Michael Kors sleepwear valued at $24.99 stolen from T.J. Maxx; cleared by citation.

■ 2200 block Wandsworth Drive, 11 p.m. Dec. 7-7:10 a.m. Dec. 11: Cleveland brand cello valued at $1,378 stolen from vehicle and recovered; investigation ongoing.

■ 3800 block Sterling Pointe Drive, near Winterville, 5:07 p.m. Nov. 27: home break-in reported; no items listed as stolen; 21-year-old man arrested and charged with breaking/entering and larceny and felony receiving stolen goods/property.

■ 100 block Mosby Circle, 7:15-7:25 p.m. Dec. 11: larceny of vehicle reported; make, model and value of vehicle not reported; investigation ongoing.

■ 4054 S. Memorial Drive, near Winterville, 3-3:30 a.m. Dec. 11: front door of Jersey Mike’s sub shop smashed to gain entry; no items listed as stolen; investigation ongoing.

■ 300 block Lindsay Drive, 9:17 p.m. Dec. 12: 21-year-old woman assaulted at home by boyfriend; extent of injuries not reported; investigation ongoing.

■ 3800 block Sterling Pointe Drive, near Winterville, 6:40-7 a.m. Dec. 12: front glass door of home sustained $40 in damages by neighbor; case inactive.

■ 1800 block West Third Street, 9:15-9:19 p.m. Dec. 11: property damage at home reported; no items listed as damaged; case inactive.
