CRIME Reports: Two Lexuses reported stolen

The Greenville Police Department is investigating two Dec. 14 incidents in which people reported that their Lexus vehicles had been stolen.

A 2010 Lexus valued at $21,000 was stolen from a commercial parking lot in the 2400 block of Stantonsburg Road, between 3:30-3:35 p.m., and someone stole a 2006 Lexus IS300 car valued at $10,000 from the parking lot at an apartment complex in the 1600 block of Wimbledon Drive between 8 p.m. on Dec. 13 and 7:30 a.m. the next morning.


The police department released reports Thursday-Friday with the following details and allegations:

Break-ins, thefts

■ 3000 block Stantonsburg Road, 6:40-7:07 p.m. Dec. 14: double-fold wallet with zipper and N.C. driver’s license valued at $37 and two credit cards of unlisted value stolen from vehicle; investigation ongoing.

■ 4600 E. 10th St., 8 a.m. Dec. 7-5 p.m. Dec. 13: larceny by employee at Chapel Hill Subway reported; no items listed as stolen; investigation ongoing.

■ 100 block Wyndham Circle, 5 p.m. Oct. 31-Nov. 6: N.C. license plate valued at $35 stolen from vehicle; investigation ongoing.

■ 714 S.E. Greenville Blvd., 7:30-7:50 p.m. Dec. 5: Chaps button-down shirt, two Polo undershirts, sleep shirt, pair of Tommy Hilfiger boxers, two three-packs of Polo boxers and six pairs of Levi denim jeans, all valued at $611, stolen from Belk; 55-year-old man arrested and charged with misdemeanor larceny.

■ 714 S.E. Greenville Blvd., 1:30-2 p.m. Dec. 11: Nike sweat pants and jacket valued at $110 stolen from Belk; investigation ongoing.

■ 671 S. Memorial Drive, 4:10-4:12 a.m. Dec. 14: air mattress valued at $40 stolen from Walgreens; investigation ongoing.

■ 2200 block N.E. Greenville Boulevard, midnight Nov. 29-3:15 p.m. Dec. 13: catalytic converter valued at $500 stolen from 2000 Honda Accord, $500 in damages; investigation ongoing.


■ 100 block Concord Drive, 10:30-11 p.m. Dec. 14: 31-year-old woman assaulted by neighbor and known person in parking lot; minor injuries reported; 24-year-old woman assaulted by friend and known person in parking lot; extent of injuries not reported; case inactive.

■ 500 block West 14th Street, 4-9:01 p.m. Dec. 14: 54-year-old man assaulted by known person; minor injuries reported; investigation ongoing.

■ 100 block River Bluff Road, 7-7:30 p.m. Dec. 14: 23-year-old woman assaulted at home by friend; minor injuries reported; apartment door and drywall sustained $500 in damages; 2008 Toyota Camry sustained $1,500 in damages; investigation ongoing.

■ 2400 block Emerald Place, 1:16 p.m Dec. 14: 57-year-old woman assaulted at medical office by boyfriend; extent of injuries not reported; 56-year-old man arrested and charged with assault on a female and driving while impaired.

■ 100 block Concord Drive, 8-8:30 a.m. Dec. 14: 26-year-old woman assaulted at home by ex-boyfriend; minor injuries reported; flower vase valued at $50 damaged; 25-year-old man arrested and charged with assault on a female and injury/damage to personal property.

■ 700 block Southeast Greenville Boulevard, 7-7:22 p.m. Dec. 1: 18-year-old man assaulted at store; extent of injuries not reported; 32-year-old man arrested and charged with resist/obstruct public officer and simple assault.


■ 300 block Grove Avenue, 10:40-10:45 p.m. Dec. 13: glass storm door of home sustained $100 in damages; case closed/cleared; prosecution declined.

■ 200 block Manhattan Avenue, 4 a.m. Dec. 13: a 2007 Dodge Charger, Toyota Corona, Oldsmobile Alero and Nissan Sentra each sustained $200 in damages in parking lot; case inactive.

■ 1600 block Hopkins Drive, 11 p.m. Dec. 10-2:10 a.m. Dec. 11: 2015 Chrysler sustained $350 in damages along street; case inactive.


The sheriff’s office released reports Friday with the following details and allegations:

Break-in, theft

■ 1300 block Sticks Road, near Washington, 2:40 p.m. Dec. 14: wallet, credit/debit cards, Social Security card and Medicaid card of unlisted value and $300 in cash stolen from home by woman’s friend; investigation ongoing.
