Break-ins at a school and business are under investigation by the Greenville Police Department.

Police said they received an alarm call at Wellcome Middle School at 11:42 p.m. Monday. Officers confirmed that a break-in had occurred, however no items were taken from the school.

Police said they have a suspect, described as wearing all dark clothing with a hoodie.

Omega Sports, 3160 Evans St., was targeted at 1:26 a.m. Tuesday, police said.

Further information was not available Tuesday.

Break-ins, thefts

■ 3400 block Evans Street, 10:45 p.m. Dec. 29-10:49 p.m. Dec. 30: 32-year-old woman and 57-year-old woman robbed with dangerous weapon at home; Kindle Fire digital book reader, multicolored purse and black and silver iPhone 6s, all valued at $780, stolen and recovered; arrest made.

■ East 10th Street and Portertown Road, 7-7:20 p.m. Dec. 28: armed robbery of 62-year-old man along road reported; camouflage shoulder bag containing prescription medications and clothing valued at $75 stolen; investigation ongoing.

■ 1300 block East 14th Street, 5:30-5:45 p.m. Dec. 26: 30-year-old man assaulted with weapon by acquaintance at residence; serious injuries reported; leather wallet, white-gold St. Christopher’s necklace, pair of New Balance sneakers and a white hat, all valued at $260, stolen; investigation ongoing.

■ 1900 block Southeast Greenville Boulevard, 12:20-12:26 a.m. Jan. 2: 20-year-old woman assaulted at restaurant; extent of injuries not reported; investigation ongoing.

■ 3000 block Evans Street, 4 p.m. Dec. 31: 51-year-old woman assaulted at restaurant; minor injuries reported; investigation ongoing.

■ 1700 block Rosewood Drive, 9:30-10:18 a.m. Dec. 31: 32-year-old woman assaulted at home by child; minor injuries reported; investigation ongoing.

■ 4000 block South Memorial Drive, 1:30-2 a.m. Dec. 31: 29-year-old woman assaulted by boyfriend along road; extent of injuries not reported; case inactive; warrants obtained.

■ 100 block North Meade Street, 2-2:30 p.m. Dec. 30: juvenile assaulted at non-residential care facility; moderate injuries reported; investigation ongoing; case cleared; juvenile contact.

■ 100 block Cherry Court, 10:39 a.m. Dec. 30: 24-year-old woman assaulted at home by boyfriend; extent of injuries not reported; case inactive; warrants obtained.

■ 1200 block Battle Street, 8:32 a.m. Dec. 30: 39-year-old man assaulted at home by neighbor; extent of injuries not reported; investigation ongoing.

■ 400 block East Arlington Boulevard, 9-9:30 p.m. Dec. 29: 39-year-old woman assaulted in parking lot by boyfriend; minor injuries reported; investigation ongoing.

■ 500 block Verdant Drive, 8-9:44 p.m. Dec. 29: assault with a deadly weapon along road reported; victim not listed; extent of injuries not reported; investigation ongoing.

■ 1400 block Hooker Road, 7-7:25 p.m. Dec. 29: 46-year-old woman assaulted in parking lot; minor injuries reported; investigation ongoing.

■ 3300 block Beaver Lodge Drive, 10:30 a.m. Dec. 29: 30-year-old woman assaulted at home by boyfriend; minor injuries reported; $200 in cash stolen; door and three porcelain figurines sustained $75 in damages; investigation ongoing.

■ 8600 block County Home Road, near Ayden, 2:13-5:13 p.m. Dec. 29: PlayStation 3 game console, three games, 18-inch chain, touch pad computer, 36-inch television and DVD player, all valued at $515, stolen from home; key lock sustained $5 in damages; investigation ongoing.

■ 600 block Danielle Drive, 11-11:07 p.m. Dec. 29: 52-year-old man robbed at gunpoint at home; $200 in cash and 1998 black Acura valued at $2,000 stolen; investigation ongoing.

■ 1300 block Duran Street, 10:55 p.m. Dec. 30:  Louis Vuitton/money valued at $380 stolen from vehicle; investigation ongoing.

■ 4600 block Whichard Road, 5 a.m.-3 p.m. Dec. 31: blunt object used to gain entry to vehicle; Samsung Galaxy 8, iPod Touch and keys, all valued at $1,320, stolen from vehicle; investigation ongoing.

■ 6800 block N.C. 11 South, near Ayden: 8:37 a.m. Dec. 31: Interstate truck battery valued at $100 stolen from construction site; 1988 Chevy of unlisted value listed as stolen and recovered; investigation ongoing.

■ 1400 block Pineridge Drive, midnight Dec. 30-5 p.m. Dec. 31: Whirlpool brand stove valued at $450 stolen from home; phtos and fingerprints seized as evidence; investigation ongoing.
