Two people suffered minor injuries during a home invasion and assault at a home near the medical district, according to a Greenville Police Department report released on Monday.

The incident occurred about 2:15 a.m. on Jan. 7 at a home in the 3200 block of Parkway Court, the report said. Parkway Court is located off of Stantonsburg Road near the Wal-Mart Market. 

Someone forced their way into the home through a doorway, causing $400 damage to the door jamb and handle. Two interior doors also were kicked open, causing another $400 damage, the report said.

A 29-year-old woman and a 36-year-old man were hurt, the report said. The woman lives at the residence. There is one suspects. His relationship to the the woman was listed as ex-boyfriend. 

Warrants were obtained for the suspect.

3100 Stantonsburg Road, 8:45 p.m. Jan. 11: Charmin paper towels, two packs of Degree deodorant and large bag of Pedigree dog food, all valued at $29.25, stolen from Dollar General store; investigation ongoing.

625 S. Memorial Drive, 6:30-7:10 p.m. Jan. 11: large comforter set and two twin comforter sets valued at $112 stolen from Family Dollar store; investigation ongoing.

800 Thomas Langston Road, near Winterville, 2:59 p.m. Dec. 5-2:59 p.m. Jan. 11: two 2017 Carry-On Trailer brand trailers valued at $2,058 stolen from Lowe’s; investigation ongoing.

100 block Larkin Lane, 10:07 a.m. Jan. 11: break-in at residence reported; no items listed as stolen; case cleared by citation.

3200 block East 10th Street, 11:50-noon Jan. 10: three bags of assorted groceries valued at $60 stolen from service/gas station; investigation ongoing.

3840 E. 10th St., 3:04 p.m. Jan. 9: two DeWalt drill combo kits and one DeWalt battery pack kit valued at $677 stolen from Lowe’s; investigation ongoing.

4600 E. 10th St., 7-9 p.m. Jan. 7: HP Pavilion laptop valued at $700 stolen from Wal-Mart; case inactive; warrants obtained.

Assaults

2000 block Old Fire Tower Road, 1:45-2:06 a.m. Jan. 11: 21-year-old woman assaulted at residence by acquaintance; 21-year-old woman assaulted at residence by friend; 19-year-old woman assaulted at residence by friend; extent of injuries for victims not reported; case inactive.
