A Hooters employee faces charges after allegedly bringing a bit of his work home with him.

Jamey Josante Lewis, 32, of 1402 Hooker Road worked as a cook at Hooters, 316 S,W, Greenville Blvd. He allegedly stole a fifth of Pinnacle vodka valued at $18.95 between 9:27 p.m. on Feb. 11 and 12:30 a.m. on Feb 12. according to a Greenville Police Department.

Lewis was also charged with larceny by employee, being intoxicated and disruptive and resisting a public officer. He was placed in the Pitt County Detention Center under $20,000 bond.

■ 1000 S. Memorial Drive, 12:59-1:15 p.m. Feb. 10: 12:50-1:15 p.m. Feb. 10: larceny reported at Handy Mart; no items listed as stolen; investigation ongoing.

■ 100 block Chadwick Lane, 7-8:30 p.m. Jan. 29: home break-in attempted; no items listed as stolen; case inactive.

■ 3200 block Moseley Drive, 2:50 a.m. Feb. 10: rear ground window of home pried open to gain entry; no items listed as stolen; no items listed as damaged; investigation ongoing.

■ 671 S. Memorial Drive, 1:21-1:23 a.m. Feb. 10: three ZTE cellphones, all valued at $134.97, stolen from Walgreens; arrest made.

■ 3040 Evans St., 4:40-4:54 p.m. Feb. 9: Braun hair clippers and Amazon Fire Stick valued at $139.38 stolen from Target and recovered; arrest made.

■ 100 block North Holly Street, 11:30 a.m.-3:20 p.m. Feb. 9: home break-in reported; no items listed as stolen; investigation ongoing.

■ 500 block West Fifth Street, 12:30-12:41 p.m. Feb. 9: Kate Spade wallet valued at $300 containing $400 cash and a Social Security card stolen from vehicle; investigation ongoing.

■ 2088 Allen Road, 1-2 a.m. Feb. 2: fence cut at Woodridge Storage, $200 in damages; padlock valued at $20 damaged; investigation ongoing.

■ 900 block Spring Forest Road, noon-5:15 p.m. Feb. 6: bodily force used on rear door of home to gain entry; ring with a dome center and diamonds surrounding it, 19-inch flat screen television, 40-inch screen television and 60-inch television, all valued at $2,200, stolen from home; investigation ongoing.
