A woman is facing charges following a beer run gone wrong.

According to a Greenville Police Department report, Lakisha Tyeshia Hines, 39, of 2402 E. Third St. attempted to steal two 12-packs and several cases of brew.

Hines allegedly stole  a 12 pack of Ice House, a case of Ice House, two cases of Coronitas and a 12 pack of Mike's Hard Lemonade from the Food Lion at 2460 Stansburg Road between 9:55 and 9:58 p.m. on Feb. 9, the report said.  

The beer was valued at $61.96. Hines was arrested and charged with felony possession of Schedule II controlled substance and misdemeanor larceny. She was booked in the Pitt County Detention Center under a $5,000 bond.

■ 671 S. Memorial Drive, 6:38-6:40 a.m. Feb. 12: approximately five packs of cigarettes valued at $20 stolen from Walgreens; case inactive.

■ 700 block Peed Drive, 7:30 p.m. Feb. 8-8 a.m. Feb. 9: vehicle break-in reported; no items listed as stolen; case inactive.

■ 3040 Evans St., 11:45 a.m. Jan. 23-3:30 p.m. Feb. 8: Amazon Hub, two Nest thermostats and Nizmo dog, all valued at $456.99, stolen from Target; investigation ongoing.

■ 4600 E. 10th St., 3:15 p.m.-4:30 p.m. Feb. 6: 18 general items valued at $82.19 stolen from Wal-Mart and recovered; 25-year-old man arrested and charged with misdemeanor larceny.
