A vandal went postal, delivering some damage to a local mailbox unit.

According to a Greenville Police Department report, someone damaged a mailbox unit in the Edgewood Mobile Home Park between 1 p.m. and 2 p.m. on Wednesday. The unit is located in the 3200 block of Riggs Lane, the report said.

The mailbox unit sustained $500 in damages. The report said the case has been closed.

The police department released reports Friday with the following details and allegations:

Break-ins, thefts

■ 1300 block Westpointe Drive, 4-8 p.m. Feb. 15: 10 Xbox 360 games, 10 PlayStation 4 games, one HDMI cable, two PlayStation controllers, two Xbox 360 controllers, one Xbox 360 Connect Bar, one PlayStation 4 console with attached cables and one Xbox 360 with attached cables, all valued at $1,220, stolen from home; investigation ongoing.

■ 100 block Concord Drive, 7:30 a.m.-5:30 p.m. Feb. 15: bodily force used on rear ground window of home by woman’s ex-boyfriend to gain entry; PlayStation 4, Chromebook laptop, two bathroom sets, electric skillet and and a bedding set, all valued at $482.88, stolen from home; investigation ongoing.

■ 210 S.W. Greenville Blvd., 2:30-2:40 p.m. Feb. 15: kneel/elbow brace, analog watch. Rocky DVD, bottle of Olde English, boots, bottle of Paris Hilton perfume and two bottles of Sebastian cologne, all valued at $181.71, stolen from Wal-Mart and recovered; 60-year-old man arrested and charged with resist/obstruct public officer, second degree trespass and shoplifting-concealment of goods.

■ 3200 block Ms. Paul Lane, 7:15-7:25 a.m. Feb. 15: 2006 Chrysler 300 car valued at $14,000 stolen from home; investigation ongoing.

■ 400 block Lewis Street, 1:45-10:50 a.m. Feb. 15: HTC M91 phone valued at $400 stolen from vehicle; case inactive.

Assaults

■ 300 block Shiloh Drive, 8:30-9 a.m. Feb. 15: 36-year-old woman assaulted at home by boyfriend; extent of injuries not reported; investigation ongoing.

■ 2900 block Westhills Drive, 11:50 a.m.-12:07 p.m. Feb. 14: 20-year-old woman assaulted at home by boyfriend; extent of injuries not reported; case closed/cleared; unfounded.

Property Damage

■ 3200 block East 10th Street, 7:49-9:06 p.m. Feb. 15: 2009 Chevrolet Malibu sustained $300 in damages; case inactive.

■ 400 block Winslow Pointe Drive, 12:30-12:40 a.m. Feb. 7: 2013 Toyota Camry valued at $9,000 damaged; investigation ongoing.

PITT COUNTY

The sheriff’s office released reports Friday with the following details and allegations:

Break-ins, thefts

■ 900 block Maple Ridge Road, 12:30 p.m. Feb. 14-11:39 a.m. Feb. 15: bodily force use by relative to enter home; Mossburg 500 shotgun valued at $150 stolen; 35 hydrocodone pills, three necklaces, a ring and nine other items of jewelry, all valued at $1,100, also stolen; case status not listed.

■ 5659 N.C. 11 N., near Bethel, 2:57 p.m. Feb. 15: Samsung J3 phone valued at $100 stolen from North Pitt High School; case status not listed.
