Ex-boyfriend assaults, robs Greenville woman

A Greenville woman reported being assaulted and robbed by an ex-boyfriend, according to Greenville police.

According to reports from the Greenville Police Department, the woman said her ex-boyfriend assaulted her forced her to take him to a Food Lion at 3136 E. 10th Street to withdraw cash on Saturday about 7:35 p.m.

Once inside the store, the woman alerted authorities and was able to escape from the man. Police reports indicate the woman suffered minor injuries. Warrants have been obtained.

■ 2800 Ellsworth Drive, 10 a.m.-3:30 p.m. May 13: break-in reported at Keystone Management Co. Inc., no items listed as stolen; case inactive.

■ 800 block Dickinson Avenue, 3:30-11:30 p.m. May 12: 2016 Volkswagen Jetta valued at $20,000 stolen from parking lot/garage; investigation ongoing.

■ 2000 block Summerhaven Drive, 5 p.m. May 12-11:30 a.m. May 13: pink Taurus PT738 TCP 380 caliber gun valued at $339 stolen from vehicle; investigation ongoing.

■ 500 block Darden Drive, 5 p.m. May 9-2:50 p.m. May 12: rear ground window of home smashed to gain entry; Maytag washing machine, Maytag top-load dryer, two laptop computers, 75-inch flat screen television and 55-inch flat screen television, all valued at $7,400, stolen; investigation ongoing.

■ 3300 block South Memorial Drive, 8 a.m. May 7-3 p.m. May 10: break-in to vehicle in parking lot reported; no items listed as stolen; investigation ongoing.

■ 200 block South Elm Street, 5:30 a.m.-3 p.m. May 8: N.C. State Employees Credit Union debit card and Select Bank & Trust debit card of unlisted value and women’s brown wallet containing assorted items and N.C. driver’s license, all valued at $75, stolen from vehicle; investigation ongoing.

■ 2200 block University Suites Drive, 11-11:45 p.m. May 4: iPhone 8 with a small crack in upper left-hand corner valued at $800 stolen from vehicle; investigation ongoing.

■ 3000 block Kingston Circle, 8:12-8:30 p.m. May 10: strong-arm robbery of 21-year-old man by acquaintance at acquaintance’s home reported; no items listed as stolen; extent of injuries not reported; case inactive.

■ 500 block Darden Drive, 6-10:32 p.m. May 9: bodily force used on rear ground window of home to gain entry; Apple laptop, 49-inch television, 55-inch television and 75-inch television, all valued at $4,810, stolen from home; case inactive.

■ 3432 S. Memorial Drive, 10-10:17 a.m. May 8: five containers of watercolor paint valued at $197.35 stolen from Hobby Lobby; case inactive; warrants obtained.

■ 714 S.E. Greenville Blvd., 2-3 p.m. May 9: larceny reported at Belk; no items listed as stolen; arrest made.

■ 100 block West Fifth Street, 2 a.m. May 13: 36-year-old man assaulted at gunpoint along street; serious injuries reported; investigation ongoing.

■ 1000 block Cheyenne Court, 11:48 p.m. May 12-midnight May 13: 24-year-old woman assaulted at home by boyfriend; extent of injuries not reported; investigation ongoing.

■ 1200 block Myrtle Street, 7:30-7:50 p.m. May 12: 50-year-old woman assaulted at home by boyfriend; minor injuries reported; arrest made.

■ 200 block Rollins Drive, 4:50-5 a.m. May 4: 35-year-old woman assaulted at home by 31-year-old woman; offender also assaulted; minor injuries to both victims reported; case inactive.

■ 1800 block Progress Road, 4-6 p.m. May 11: cutting instrument used by ex-spouse to gain access to 2001 GMC Sierra truck in parking lot/area; Milwaukee M18 power/hand tool valued at $639 and license plate valued at $15 stolen; truck sustained $350 in damages; investigation ongoing.

■ 3600 block Old River Road, 8 p.m. May 11: pry tool used to gain entry to home; door casing sustained $150 in damages; no items listed as stolen; investigation ongoing.

■ 300 block Jacksontown Road, near Ayden, 1 p.m. May 11: Kenwood stereo and Porter-Cable power/hand tool valued at $500 stolen from residence by employee and recovered; 100 DVDs valued at $100 stolen and not recovered; case closed; victim refused to cooperate.

■ 1600 block Bunch Lane, 1 a.m. May 13: force used by known person to gain entry to home; no items listed as stolen; case cleared by arrest by another agency.
