Man pulls gun on friend during argument

The Greenville Police Department arrested at man on a weapons charge after a friend reported he pointed a gun at him at his home on Moseley Drive, according to a police report issued Tuesday.
The incident occurred during an argument about between 11:20 p.m. Monday in the 3200 block of Moseley. Police were called to the scene and arrested Courtney Gene Grimes, 28, of Greenville on a charge of carrying a concealed weapon. The victim later decided not to pursue charges against Grimes.
The police department released reports Monday with the following details and allegations:
■ 1700 block Southwest Greenville Boulevard, 12:08 p.m. May 8: unknown item(s) valued at $2 stolen from discount store by known person; case inactive.
■ 500 block Brighton Park Drive, 10 p.m. May 1-10 p.m. May 8: 9mm Smith & Wesson 19-3 handgun valued at $350 stolen from home; case inactive.
■ 700 block West 14th Street, midnight-12:25 a.m. May 10: 29-year-old woman assaulted by boyfriend in parking lot; extent of injuries not reported; investigation ongoing.
■ 1500 block Bridle Circle, 9-9:20 p.m. May 9: 27-year-old woman assaulted at home by spouse; extent of injuries not reported; investigation ongoing.
■ 1500 block Charles Boulevard, 7:45 a.m. May 8: 20-year-old man assaulted at home by girlfriend; extent of injuries not reported; 20-year-old woman arrested and charged with simple assault.
■ 900 block Allen Road, 10 p.m. May 9-4:18 p.m. May 10: property damage reported; no items listed as damaged; value of damage not listed; investigation ongoing.
■ 1800 block Rosemont Drive, 3:30-3:35 p.m. May 9: 2014 Chevrolet valued at $6,000 damaged by ex-boyfriend; case closed/cleared; unfounded.
The Pitt County Sheriff’s Office released reports Tuesday with the following details and allegations:
■ 500 block Rachel Lane, near Grimesland, 12:30-10:30 p.m., May 13: mailbox sustained $100 in damages; investigation ongoing.
