A 46 year-old man was charged with driving while impaired after he failed to maintain lane several times and stopped in the middle of an intersection while the light was green, according to a weekly review of Pitt County court records.

Isidro Crespo Morales, 46, of 116 Laughinghouse Drive, changed lanes multiple times about 9:53 a.m. on May 21 near Red Banks Road and Dellwood Drive, according to a Greenville Police Department report.

Police said Morales had an odor of alcohol on his breath and had an open beer bottle in the driver’s side door. His blood alcohol level was unavailable.  

Five others also were charged with driving while impaired according to court records and law enforcement reports available between May 16 and May 23. In those cases, court documents indicate:

■ Carolyn Smith Boyd, 58, of 1612 Hoover Street was stopped at 8:17 a.m. on May 17 near N.C. 11 and Whitley Drive by the State Highway Patrol. She had red glassy eyes, was unsteady on her feet, and had an odor of alcohol on her breath. Her blood alcohol level was 0.12 She was also charged with driving without a license. 

■ Joseph Samuel Ferguson, 29, of 213 Emily Drive, Winterville, was stopped at 11:26 a.m. on May 15 near N.C. 11 and Davenport Farm Road by the Winterville Police Department. He had red glassy eyes and an odor of alcohol on his breath. His blood alcohol level was 0.20

■ Andrea Nicole Parker, 40, of 1290 Parkwest Drive, was stopped at 12:25 a.m. on May 18 near U.S. 264 and Williams Road by the State Highway Patrol. She had red glassy eyes, a strong odor of alcohol on her breath and admitted to drinking. She also had an open beer bottle on the back floorboard. She was also charged for going 64 in a 50 mph zone.  Her blood alcohol level was 0.10. 

■ Bobby Ray Pittman, 53, of 3606 Williams Street, Farmville, was stopped at 10:20 p.m. on May 18 near West Pine Street by the State Highway Patrol. He was charged for fictitious tags, driving without a license and driving without insurance. He had bloodshot eyes, was slow to blink, and had a strong odor of alcohol on his breath. His blood alcohol level was 0.12. 

■ Cierra Jonah Parks, 22, of 4164 Brook Creek Lane, was stopped at 11:05 a.m. on May 16 near Porter Town Road and Eastern Pines Road by the State Highway Patrol. She had a strong odor of alcohol on her breath, red glassy eyes and slurred speech. Her blood alcohol level was 0.18 . She was also charged with having an expired registration.
