The Greenville Police Department has arrested and charged four people from Georgia on felony drug trafficking of methamphetamine, according to arrest warrants filed on Wednesday.

Arturto Bahena, 27, Ana Karen Bahena, 25, Elizabeth Mondragon, 19, and Christian Toledo, 22, all of Athens, are accused of trafficking in more than 11 pounds of methamphetamine. Toledo is also charged with carrying a concealed gun. 

The four were arrested about 7:15 a.m. in the 400 block of North Memorial Drive. The police department would not release further details about the arrest.

Arturto Bahena and Christian Toledo were jailed in the Pitt County Detention Center under $1 million bonds, while Elizabeth Mondragon and Ana Karen Bahena are under $500,000 bonds.  

The four defendants made their first court appearance at the Pitt County Detention Center Thursday morning.  The judge did not modify their bond amounts.

The police department released reports Thursday with the following details and allegations:

Break-ins, thefts

■ 3000 Stantonsburg Road, 1:25-1:30 a.m. June 14: various food items valued at $30 stolen from Speedway; investigation ongoing.

■ 137 S.W. Greenville Blvd., 11:42-11:55 p.m. June 13: Amazing Stylz broken into; no items listed as stolen; investigation ongoing.

■ 714 S.E. Greenville Blvd., 2-2:36 p.m. June 7: four comforter sets valued at $1,081 stolen from Belk; investigation ongoing.

■ 20 block Merry Lane, 8 a.m. May 28-8 a.m. June 13: assorted protein powder and BCAA’s canisters, set of pots and pans and Betty Crocker crock pot, all valued at $240, stolen from home; Bissell vacuum cleaner and weight lifting trophies valued at $101 damaged; investigation ongoing.

Property Damage

■ 900 block Spring Forest Road, 10 a.m.-11:50 p.m. June 13: double paned sliding door valued at $200 damaged in home; investigation ongoing.

■ 300 block Southwest Greenville Boulevard, 10 p.m. June 13: 1997 Chevrolet Tahoe sustained $300 in damages; investigation ongoing. 

PITT COUNTY

The Pitt County Sheriff’s Office released reports Thursday with the following details and allegations:

Break-ins, thefts

■ 1900 block Carraway Road, near Fountain, midnight June 11-8:20 p.m. June 13: home entered forcibly using blunt object; Keurig coffee maker valued at $100 stolen; window valued at $200 damaged; investigation ongoing.

Assaults

■ 4200 block Dixon Road, near Grimesland, 11:20-11:24 p.m. June 13: 24-year-old woman assaulted in residence; minor injuries reported; investigation ongoing.

■ 100 block Pactolus Highway, 8:20 p.m. June 13: 34-year-old man assaulted in home by relative; extent of injuries not reported; investigation ongoing.

■ 3300 block Pinetree Lane, 7-7:20 p.m. June 12: 24-year-old woman assaulted in residence by known person; minor injuries reported; purse valued at $25 stolen; investigation ongoing.

Property Damage

■ 4200 block Dixon Road, near Grimesland, 2:26 a.m. June 13: exterior light housing valued at $20 damaged at home; case closed/cleared.
