Power tools stolen from apartment complex

A Greenville apartment complex employee has reported multiple tools missing, according to police.

A Greenville Police Department report stated that an employee at 33 East Apartments filed a police report on Thursday after he discovered $490 worth of power tools were taken from the complex, located at 3287 E. 10th St.

The report said that the tools, including a Dewalt hammer drill, Bostich air compressor, Makita circular saw, Dewalt grinder and a Dewalt sawzall, were taken between 8 a.m. June 13 and 5 p.m. June 18.

The case remains under investigation.   


The police department released reports Friday with the following details and allegations:

Break-ins, thefts

■ 1900 block Hyde Drive, 9 p.m. June 20-7 p.m. June 21: two USSA ring, red and black bag, three Miken and Freak baseball bat set, Smith and Wesson .40 caliber firearm, Smith and Wesson 4.5 mm BB handl and 9 mm glock, all valued at $2,529, stolen from parking lot; investigation ongoing.

■ 3300 block Mulberry Lane, 12:01-7 a.m. June 21: 9 mm glock 43 valued at $579 stolen from home; investigation ongoing.

■ 1000 block West Fifth Street, 9:39 a.m.-5:38 p.m. June 21: two hair bonnets valued at $8 stolen from convenience store and recovered; two bundles of weave hair valued at $40 stolen from convenience store and not recovered; case closed/cleared.

■ 300 block Lindsay Drive, 3:35-3:45 p.m. June 21: home broken into by acquaintance; no items listed as stolen; investigation ongoing.

■ 100 block Wyndham Circle, 10 a.m.-7 p.m. June 20: two bicycles valued at $550 stolen from home; case inactive.

■ 100 block Keys Court, 7 p.m. June 20-6:25 a.m. June 21: 2005 BMW X5 valued at $5,000 stolen from parking lot; investigation ongoing.


■ 1400 block Hooker Road, 8-8:30 p.m. June 21: 47-year-old woman assaulted in home by friend; extent of injuries not reported; investigation ongoing..

■ 1200 block Holden Drive, 7:30-8:09 p.m. June 21: 19-year-old woman assaulted in home by boyfriend; extent of injuries not reported; investigation ongoing.

Property Damage

■ 1100 block Chestnut St., 6:15-6:21 a.m. June 21: 2009 Honda Accord valued at $8,000 damaged at home; investigation ongoing.
