Three men were arrested after Greenville Police officers received  information about drug activity according to Kristen Hunter, the department’s public information officer.

Alfonso Young Jr., Jametrice Washington and Devonta Clemons of Greenville were arrested and charged after officers seized three firearms, 54 grams of cocaine, over a pound of marijuana and an undisclosed amount of cash. 

The drug bust occurred at 1016 Legion St., Apt A in Greenville.  Arrest warrants also indicate scales, plastic baggies, a book about cocaine, blenders and a vacuum sealer also were found.   

Young and Washington are lodged in the Pitt County Detention Center under $1 million bonds each. Clemons’s bond is set at $2 million.  

Young is charged with manufacturing cocaine, possession with intent to sell and deliver cocaine, trafficking cocaine, possession with intent to sell and deliver marijuana, maintaining a dwelling/place for the sale of a controlled substance, manufacturing/selling/delivering a controlled substance within 1,000 feet of a park, possession of drug paraphernalia, felony possession of schedule I controlled substance, felony possession of marijuana and felony possession of cocaine. 

Clemons is charged with three counts of possession of a firearm by a felon, manufacturing cocaine, possession with intent to sell and deliver cocaine, trafficking in cocaine, possession with intent to sell and deliver marijuana, maintain a vehicle/dwelling/place of a controlled substance, manufacture, sell, distribute controlled substance within 1,000 feet of a park and possession of a stolen firearm. 

Washington is charged with felony possession of Schedule I controlled substance, felony possession of marijuana, felony possession of cocaine, manufacturing cocaine, possession with intent to sell and deliver cocaine, trafficking in cocaine, possession with intent to sell deliver marijuana, maintain a vehicle/dwelling/place for the sale of a controlled substance, manufacturing/sell/distribute controlled substance within 1,000 feet of a park and possession of drug paraphernalia.
