Three men were robbed at gunpoint in a parking lot early Sunday morning and one of them was injured, the Greenville Police Department reported.

The incident occurred between 1 and 3 a.m. near the 900 block of West Fifth Street, which is near Vance Street, according to a case report issued on Monday. The report indicated a robber with a semi-automatic handgun held up the  men and the firearm was discharged at least one time.

Two of the men, both 26-years-old, did not report injuries, but the third, a 32-year-old, reported minor injuries. It is unclear if he was injured by the firearm.

No items were listed as stolen or damaged, though the report indicated property damage took place as well. An investigation into the incident is ongoing.
