Woman hit by SUV on Charles

A woman was injured about 2:30 p.m. Sunday after she was struck by an SUV while crossing the road near Charles Boulevard and Ficklen Drive, the Greenville Police Department reported.
The woman suffered minor injuries and was transported to Vidant Medical Center, department spokeswoman Kristen Hunter said. Police are still investigating the crash and further details were not available Tuesday.

■ 500 block Brighton Park Drive, 10:35 p.m. Sept. 20: 31-year-old woman assaulted with a deadly weapon by neighbor; extent of injuries not reported; case inactive.

■ 200 block Shiloh Drive, 4-4:11 p.m. Sept. 23: 2011 white Nissan Altima sustained $120 in damages from neighbor; investigation ongoing.
