A man and woman suffered moderate injuries when they were cut in a domestic dispute early Tuesday, according to a case report released by the Greenville Police Department.

The incident took place about 1:43 a.m. on Tuesday at the couple’s home on West Ford Street, according to the report released on Thursday. A knife was involved in the incident, the department reported.  

The 56-year-old man and 57-year-old woman both were arrested and charged with assault with a deadly weapon, the department reported.

■ 1826 E. Arlington Blvd., 1-1:50 p.m. Oct. 17: two bottles of Enfamil baby formula valued at $35.98 stolen from Walmart; investigation ongoing.

■ 671 S. Memorial Drive, 3:22-3:45 p.m. Oct. 17: unspecified items valued at $12.20 stolen from Walgreens; arrest made.

■ 2016 Chestnut St., 2:58 a.m. Aug. 26-2:16 p.m. Oct. 17: 2013 white GMC truck stolen from U-Haul; investigation ongoing.

■ 1800 block Grace Avenue, 10 a.m. Oct. 9-10 a.m. Oct. 10: copper valued at $6,000 stolen from The Realty Group; investigation ongoing.

■ 3900 block Bostic Drive, 8 p.m. Oct. 16-10 a.m. Oct. 17: 2003 gold Mercedes-Benz C240 valued at $3,500 stolen from parking lot; investigation ongoing.

■ 2907 E. 10th St., 2:40-2:50 p.m. Oct. 16: three cheeseburgers with drinks and fries, all valued at $29.17, stolen from Highway 55; investigation ongoing.

■ 3200 block East 10th Street, 12:30-2 a.m. Oct. 14: tan 9mm Glock 19 valued at $620 stolen by family member; investigation ongoing.

Assaults

■ 2600 block Courtier Drive, 4-8 p.m. Oct. 17: 21-year-old woman assaulted by ex-boyfriend; extent of injuries not reported; arrest made.

■ 500 block Verdant Drive, 7:40-7:46 p.m. Oct. 17: 46-year-old mother and 24-year-old daughter assaulted each other at home; both reported minor injuries; investigation ongoing.

■ 100 block Howard Circle, 10:48 a.m. Oct. 17: 35-year-old woman assaulted at home; extent of injuries not reported; case inactive.

■ 200 block Wyndham Circle, 4:30-5 a.m. Oct. 17: 22-year-old woman assaulted by acquaintance at acquaintance’s home; extent of injuries not reported; case inactive.

The Pitt County Sheriff’s Office released reports Wednesday with the following details and allegations:

Break-ins, thefts

■ 500 block Birchwood Drive, 7:51 a.m. Oct. 16: iPhone 7 valued at $100 stolen from woman at home; case status: open.

■ 100 block River Rat Lane, near Grimesland, midnight Sept. 17-midnight Oct. 9: non-equipment metals valued at $500 stolen from unspecified auto dealership by acquaintance; case status: open.

■ 300 block River Road Estates Road, 7 a.m.-5 p.m. Oct. 16: break-in reported at home; no items listed as stolen; case status: open.

Assaults

■ 2500 block Thomas Langston Road, near Winterville, 11:57 a.m. Oct. 16: 19-year-old man assaulted at home; no injuries reported; case status: except, clear; prosecution declined.

■ 900 block Austin Lane, 2 a.m. Oct. 17: 38-year-old woman strangled at home by boyfriend; minor injuries reported; Ford Fiesta sustained $200 in damages; case status: open.
