A 30-year-old woman was assaulted by her boyfriend last week, resulting in his arrest and the arrest of a second man.

The incident took place on the 300 block of Paige Drive between 8 a.m. and 9:21 a.m. on Nov. 1. The woman reported minor injuries.

Corvette Lane, 30, was arrested and charged with assault on a female, and 27-year-old Jeremy Whichard was arrested and charged with altering or removing the security number of a firearm and possession of a firearm by a felon.

Break-ins, thefts

■ 210 S.W. Greenville Blvd., 8:30-8:42 p.m. Nov. 6: HP Pavilion PC valued at $1,199 stolen from Walmart; investigation ongoing.

■ 612 S.W. Greenville Blvd., 8:45-8:52 p.m. Nov. 6: five cartons of cigarettes valued at $57.99 stolen from Speedway; investigation ongoing.

■ 200 block Steward Lane, 3 p.m. Oct. 31-2 p.m. Nov. 6: amethyst ring, five gold rings and a jade gold necklace, all valued at $1,900, stolen from home; investigation ongoing.

■ 210 S.W. Greenville Blvd., 1:36 p.m. Nov. 6: two miscellaneous food items valued at $45.97 stolen from Walmart; case closed/cleared by citation.

■ 3801 S. Memorial Drive, 3:40-4:07 p.m. Oct. 28: two cases of Huggies baby wipes and five cases of Pampers diapers, all valued at $217.66, stolen from Walmart; investigation ongoing.

Property Damage

■ 4400 block East 10th Street, 12:15 p.m. Nov. 5: 2017 blue Kia Forte sustained an unreported amount of damages; case inactive.
