Arrests made in home invasion, robbery

Four men have been arrested in a home invasion and armed robbery that occurred at Bellamy apartment complex on Wednesday, according to the Greenville Police Department.

The incident took place in the 2200 block of Bellamy Circle between 12:01 and 12:09 a.m., the report said. The home was entered without force through the front door. Three men, two 19 and one 20, were present in the home at the time of the break-in.

The report indicated that the intruders assaulted the victims with an unspecified semi-automatic weapon and a semi-automatic rifle. The extent of injuries reported was listed as unknown.

Kevion Derrell Harrell, 18, of Ahoskie, Joshua Jamel Downing, 19, of Bostic Drive in Greenville, Jaequan Maliek McNair, 18, of Williamston, and Joshua Lama Jennings, 21, of 2200 Belamy Circle, were arrested at the scene. Each was charged with first-degree burglary, possession of a stolen firearm, felony conspiracy, robbery with a dangerous weapon and assault by pointing a gun.

The incident was among of four armed robbery cases included in reports released by the police department on Thursday.

■ A 19-year-old woman reported she was robbed by three suspects at the Bower Apartments in the 1500 of block Charles Boulevard between 5:30-6:30 p.m. on Tuesday. The woman was assaulted with a semi-automatic handgun, a report said. The extent of her injuries not listed. An investigation is ongoing.

■ A 17-year-old woman reported she was robbed in the roadway in the 200 block of Glenwood Avenue between 1-2 p.m. on Oct. 25. The woman was assaulted with an unspecified dangerous weapon, the report said. The extent of her injuries was not reported. Police obtained warrants and arrested Justin Emmanuel Ross, 17, 207 Glenwood Ave., and charged him with second-degree kidnapping and robbery with a dangerous weapon. He was carrying a handgun when he was arrested and was charged with carrying a concealed weapon.

■ A 57-year-old man reported he was robbed by two suspects in the roadway in the 1500 block of Ward Street about 10 p.m. on Saturday. He reported the robbers used a handgun and stole credit and debit cards. He suffered moderate injuries, the report said. An investigation is ongoing.

■ 4100 block Kittrell Farms Drive, 6:30 a.m. Nov. 13-8:14 a.m. Nov. 14: home entered through back door by known person; no items listed as stolen; investigation ongoing.


■ 3200 block East 10th Street, 6:45-7 a.m. Nov. 14: 29-year-old woman assaulted by boyfriend; extent of injuries not reported; investigation ongoing.

■ 600 W. Arlington Blvd., 3:30-3:45 p.m. Oct. 31: juvenile assaulted by acquaintance at J.H. Rose High School; minor injuries reported; case closed/cleared.

■ First block Thomas Langston Road, 10:30-10:50 a.m. Nov. 10: 17-year-old woman assaulted at gunpoint on road; extent of injuries not reported; investigation ongoing.

■ 600 block South Pitt Street, 8:20-8:22 a.m. Nov. 9: 59-year-old woman assaulted at bus terminal; extent of injuries not reported; case inactive/warrants obtained.

■ 1700 block Ashley Drive, 11:15 p.m. Nov. 13: 42-year-old man robbed at home at gunpoint; no injuries reported; Samsung Galaxy S7 valued at $200 and $630 in cash stolen; case status: active.

■ 2400 block Doc Loftin Road, near Ayden, noon Nov. 8-11 p.m. Nov. 13: Honda dirt bike valued at $1,500 stolen from home; case status: active.


■ 8200 block N.C. 11 South, near Ayden, 6:30 p.m. Nov. 13: 43-year-old man assaulted at gunpoint; no injuries reported; case status: active.

■ 2300 block Durwood Pollard Road, 7:20-7:30 p.m. Nov. 13: 40-year-old man assaulted at home by girlfriend; minor injuries reported; arrest made.

Property Damage

■ 2300 block Waterview Road, 4-5 p.m. Nov. 13: fence sustained $100 in damages after being hit by a car by neighbor; case status: active.
