A home was broken into over the weekend, resulting in $1,440 in stolen items, according to a case report released by the Greenville Police Department.

The incident took place on the 100 block of Brownlea Drive between 2 p.m. on Nov. 17 and 2:14 a.m. on Nov. 18.

The report indicated that the home was entered by smashing a back upstairs window.

Items stolen include a set of name-engraved earrings, two charms, a .223 caliber unspecified-brand firearm, a .38 caliber Taurus, an American Tactical AR-15 and a Coltsman rifle.

An investigation is ongoing.
