Greenville Police arrested a 31-year-old Greenville man for threatening another man at knifepoint over two individual Native brand cigarettes and a single can of Busch brand beer Saturday. 

According to an arrest warrant,  Adrian Jabar Smith, of 1702 S. Greene St. robbed and threatened Ignacio Argomaniz-Ramirez with a pocket knife.  The items are valued at $2.78. The warrant did not specify where the robbery took place or what time it took place.  

Argomaniz-Ramirez was uninjured in the robbery and Smith was charged with robbery with a dangerous weapon.  

Smith is currently in the Pitt County Detention Center under a $200,000 bond. He was scheduled to make his first appearance Monday morning.
