Eleven iPhones that belonged to U.S. Cellular and valued at more than $5,000 were stolen in the last month from a UPS facility, according to a case report released Tuesday by the Pitt County Sheriff’s Office.

The thefts took place between noon on Dec. 4 and noon on Jan. 4 at UPS distribution facility at 2401 United Drive north of Greenville, the report said. The phones belonged to the U.S. Cellular store at 205 S.W. Greenville Blvd., near the Hilton Greenville.

Items listed as stolen included two iPhone 8 Pluses, each valued at $500, and nine 64-gigabyte iPhone XR’s, each valued at $500. The total value of all stolen items was $5,500.

The theft was reported to the sheriff’s office on Monday by a UPS security officer. The case status is active.

PITT COUNTY

The sheriff’s office released reports Tuesday with the following details and allegations:

Break-ins, thefts

■ 1700 block West Winds Drive, 1 a.m. Jan. 2-8 p.m. Jan. 4: Fire HD tablet valued at $129 stolen from vehicle; case active.

■ 6800 block West Wilson Street, near Fountain, 9:30 a.m.-12:30 p.m. Jan. 5: medication valued at $45 and six video games, all valued at $120, stolen from home; case active.

■ 4112 N.C. 33 West, 8:50-8:54 p.m. Jan. 5: $1,000 in cash stolen from Dollar General during an armed robbery; no injuries reported; case active.

■ 1400 block Billy Lane, 1-1:45 p.m. Jan. 4: Samsung TV valued at $200 and Samsung smartphone valued at $300 stolen from home; case active.

■ 1600 block Mandy Drive, 4:01 p.m. Jan. 4: $2,800 in cash stolen from home; case cleared.

Assaults

■ 2200 block Melonie Court, 9:58 p.m. Jan. 5: 55-year-old man assaulted by child at home; minor injuries reported; 22-year-old man assaulted by parent at home; minor injuries reported; arrest made.

■ 2200 block Slate Lane, 1:30-1:45 p.m. Jan. 4: 66-year-old woman assaulted at home; no injuries reported; case cleared.

Property Damage

■ 300 block Teels Estates Road, 9:15 p.m. Jan. 5: driver’s side window of vehicle sustained $200 in damages from a blunt object used by a known person; case cleared.

■ 1500 block Edwards Farm Road, midnight-5:06 a.m. Jan. 4: two Honda Accord’s each sustained $1,000 in damage, a Toyota vehicle sustained $1,000 in damage and a Jeep Cherokee sustained $1,000 in damages, all from a fire; case active. 

■ 3200 block Frog Level Road, 6:55 a.m. Jan. 7: Mercury Grand Marquis sustained $6,000 in damages from boyfriend of victim; case active.

GREENVILLE

Electronics, firearm stolen

Property valued at more than $2,000 was stolen after someone pried open the front door to a home on 10th Street on Monday, according to a case report released by the Greenville Police Department.

The incident took place between 11:30 a.m. and 12:36 p.m. in the 2600 block of East 10th Street. 

Items listed as stolen include a space gray iPhone 6 valued at $150, a 2013 15-inch Macbook Pro valued at $1,400 and a Taurus 1911 .45 caliber firearm valued at $470. An investigation is ongoing.

The police department released other reports Tuesday with the following details and allegations:

■ 1200 block Peyton Circle, 7:20 a.m.-6:15 p.m. Jan. 7: home entered by prying back window open; stolen items not listed; investigation ongoing.

■ 500 block Spring Forest Road, 9 p.m. Jan. 6-4 p.m. Jan. 7: license plate stolen from vehicle; investigation ongoing.

■ 2400 block South Memorial Drive, 11:45-11:50 a.m. Jan. 7: steel tire rim valued at $200 stolen and recovered; investigation ongoing.

■ 3142 Moseley Drive, 8 a.m. Nov. 22-8 a.m. Jan. 4: company documents, an electric test unit and a BMW-value Stem N62 seal remark tool, all valued at $1,670, stolen from Eurasian Import Center by employee; investigation ongoing.

■ 3140 Evans St., 7:15-8 p.m. Jan. 7: metal frame, unspecified social media appliance, two Polaroid originals, two Canon Ivy zink papers and earbuds, all valued at $97.93, stolen from Best Buy and recovered; case closed/cleared by citation.

Property Damage

■ 4200 block Dudleys Grant Drive, 3-5 a.m. Jan. 7: 2005 black Chevrolet Silverado sustained $700 in damages; investigation ongoing.
