Four charged in Rocky Mount weekend homicide

ROCKY MOUNT — Four arrests have been made in one of three weekend homicides in Rocky Mount.

Tracy Lamont Collins Jr., 18; Khalil Jywon Davis, 18; Shymond Kiheem Williams, 17; and a 15-year-old juvenile have been charged with first-degree murder in the shooting death of 20-year-old Mikell Lamar Sheridan.

The shooting took place on Sunday afternoon on Union Street.

The arrests were made by the Rocky Mount Police Department’s Homicide Unit.

Collins, Davis and Williams are being held without bond in the Nash Count Detention Center. The juvenile was taken to Wake County Juvenile Detention Center, where he also is being held without bond.

Police are still investigating a double homicide that occurred Saturday night on Carroll Avenue. Kestler Rayo Bridgers, 31, and Torrey Tinell Hill, 39, were killed.
