Over $3,000 of jewelry and electronics was stolen during a home break-in on Wednesday night, according to a case report released by the Greenville Police Department. 

The incident took place between 4 and 7 p.m. in the 100 block of Fosbury Way, the report said.

The report indicated that the home was forcibly entered by breaking down the back door.

Items listed as stolen include a diamond ring valued at $400, an Indian chief head ring valued at $200, an analog Michael Kors watch valued at $400, five 14-karat gold necklaces, all valued at $1,000, an Apple watch, valued at $450, and a 65-inch Vizio TV valued at $700.

An investigation is ongoing.

Break-ins, thefts

■ 2200 block Bellamy Circle, 8 a.m. July 1, 2018-10:02 a.m. Jan. 10: Zamboni ice resurfacer valued at $4,000 stolen from Bellamy Apartments; investigation ongoing.

■ 2521 N. Memorial Drive, 7:45-8:47 p.m. Jan. 9: three lottery tickets and two 24-packs of Bud Light, all valued at $102.57, stolen from Sheetz; investigation ongoing.

■ 400 block Brighton Park Drive, 9 a.m. Jan. 7-4:34 p.m. Jan. 9: 40 millimeter Ruger SR40C firearm valued at $569 stolen from man by ex-boyfriend; investigation ongoing.

■ 100 block North Meade Street, 5 p.m. Jan. 6: garbage can valued at $98 and 55-inch Roku TV valued at $400 stolen from home; door and window of home sustained $250 in damages; case inactive.

■ 625 W. Arlington Blvd., 5:30 p.m. Jan. 8-9:15 a.m. Jan. 9: 42-inch TV valued at $300 stolen from River Birch Tennis Center; investigation ongoing.

■ 1700 block Dickinson Avenue, 12:20 p.m. Jan. 8: karaoke machine valued at $1,000 stolen from vehicle;e investigation ongoing.

■ 210 S.W. Greenville Blvd., 2:30-3:45 p.m. Jan. 6: unspecified quantity of grocery and household items valued at $178.13 stolen from Walmart; additional unspecified quantity of grocery and household items valued at $307 stolen from Walmart and recovered; arrest made.

■ 800 block Johns Hopkins Drive, 4:15 p.m. Jan. 3: $60 worth of gift cards, license, four bank cards and a wallet valued at $40 stolen from vehicle; investigation ongoing.

Assaults

■ 100 block Moore Road, 7:45-8:15 p.m. Jan. 9: 32-year-old woman assaulted at home by boyfriend; minor injuries reported; case inactive/warrants obtained.

Property Damage

■ 100 block Cedar Street, 9 a.m. Dec. 27-1 p.m. Dec. 28: front window of home sustained $300 in damages; case inactive.

■ 2400 block South Memorial Drive, 1-6:30 a.m. Jan. 10: 2006 black Ford Escort sustained damages from girlfriend of victim; investigation ongoing.

■ 3040 Evans St., 9 a.m.-7:15 p.m. Jan. 8: 2017 gray Jeep sustained $500 in damages; case inactive.

Pitt County

The sheriff’s office released reports Thursday with the following details and allegations:

Break-ins, thefts

■ 6500 block Stantonsburg Road, near Farmville, 5:30 Jan. 8-9:26 a.m. Jan. 9: break-in reported at home; stolen items not listed; case active.

■ 4763 N.C. 11 North, near Bethel, 2:20-2:33 p.m. Jan. 11: $346 in cash stolen from Country Mart at gunpoint; no injuries reported; case active.

■ 2900 block Black Jack Simpson Road, 10:30 p.m. Jan. 9-6:50 a.m. Jan. 10: speaker system valued at $600, book bag valued at $30 and Chromebook tablet valued at $319 stolen from home; case active. 

Assaults

■ 2500 block Stokes Road, 7:30-7:35 p.m. Jan. 9: 51-year-old man assaulted at home; no injuries reported; case cleared.

■ 500 block Tucker Street, near Simpson, 9:26-9:27 a.m. Jan. 9: 42-year-old woman assaulted by child; no injuries reported; case cleared: prosecution declined.

■ 5900 block Clint Bullock Lane, near Fountain, 10-10:05 p.m. Jan. 10: 38-year-old man assaulted with a blunt object; minor injuries reported; case active.

■ 7000 block U.S. 264, near Farmville, 12:46 a.m. Jan. 11: 28-year-old woman assaulted by boyfriend; no injuries reported; 58-year-old man assaulted by child; minor injuries reported; case active.

■ 2500 block Stokes Road, 6:30-6:40 p.m. Jan. 10: 51-year-old man assaulted at home by known person; minor injuries reported; arrest made. 

Property Damage

■ 1300 block Ellison Court, 6:15 a.m. Jan. 9: four vehicle tires all sustained $400 in damages; case closed/leads exhausted.
