Man seriously injured in drug-related assault

A 49-year-old man reported serious injuries after a known person assaulted him with a deadly weapon early on Saturday morning, according to a case report released by the Greenville Police Department. 

The incident took place between 2:30 a.m. and 2:57 a.m. on Saturday near the intersection of West 14th Avenue and Fleming Street.

How the injuries were sustained was not listed on the report, nor was the deadly weapon specified.

The report did indicate that drugs were involved in the assault.

Jackielis Moore, 25, of Greenville was arrested at 3 a.m. on Saturday and charged with two counts each of attempted robbery with a dangerous weapon, assault with a deadly weapon with the intent to kill or seriously injure, felony possession of cocaine and possession of marijuana up to half an ounce.

■ 200 block North Woodlawn Avenue, 10 p.m. Feb. 10-8:30 a.m. Feb. 11: 2002 red Ford Mustang sustained an unreported amount of damage during break-in; two pay stubs, an unspecified quantity of clothing and a dead alternator from the vehicle, all valued at $170, stolen; case inactive.

■ 1600 block Southwest Greenville Boulevard, 6-7:30 p.m. Feb. 10: license, three bank cards and one brown wallet, all valued at $20, stolen from vehicle; investigation ongoing.

■ 3000 block Clubway Drive, 7:35-7:36 p.m. Feb. 10: home entered forcibly through front door; one gold necklace valued at $200 stolen; investigation ongoing.

■ 400 block South Greene Street, 4-5 p.m. Feb. 10: home entered without force through front door by ex-girlfriend of victim; stolen items not listed; investigation ongoing.

■ 100 block Southwest Greenville Boulevard, 12:40-12:45 p.m. Feb. 10: one Samsung Galaxy S7 valued at $200 stolen from man; investigation ongoing.

■ 1100 block Grovemont Drive, midnight-11 a.m. Feb. 10: one Canik nine millimeter firearm valued at $350 stolen from vehicle; investigation ongoing.

■ 1200 block East Fire Tower Road, 1:40-1:50 a.m. Feb. 10: front door of residence sustained $200 in damages during break-in; stolen items not listed; 28-year-old woman arrested and charged with two counts of failure to appear of misdemeanor charges; 40-year-old man arrested and charged with felony breaking and entering to terrorize or injure.

■ 400 block Beasley Drive, noon Feb. 9: key to home, key fob to car, one pair of Timberland boots and a fifth generation iPod, all valued at $540, stolen from home by known person; case inactive.

■ 200 block Southwest Greenville Boulevard, 3:11 p.m. Feb. 4-6:15 p.m. Feb. 9: break-in to unspecified business reported; stolen items not listed; investigation ongoing.

■ 300 S.W. Greenville Blvd., 1:30-1:40 p.m. Feb. 9: one adult magazine valued at $10 stolen from Sweet Dreams; investigation ongoing.

■ 2521 N. Memorial Drive, 3-3:20 p.m. Feb. 9: one alcoholic beverage valued at $10 and three unspecified food items valued at $10 stolen from Sheetz; investigation ongoing.

■ 3100 block East 10th Street, 9 p.m. Feb. 8-11 a.m. Feb. 9: GPS valued at $500 stolen from vehicle; investigation ongoing.

■ 3200 block Summer Place, noon-1:30 p.m. Feb. 9: Social Security card, birth certificate, license and a women’s purse valued at $7 stolen from home; investigation ongoing.

■ 3900 block Sterling Pointe Drive, 9 a.m. Feb. 4-6 p.m. Feb. 8: 2002 white Ford Explorer valued at $1,500 stolen; investigation ongoing.

■ 300 block South Jarvis Street, 11:15-11:20 a.m. Feb. 8: one purple Coach wallet valued at $150 containing driver’s license, Social Security card and two bank cards stolen from woman; investigation ongoing.

■ 400 block Elizabeth Street, 5:30-7:05 p.m. Feb. 8: wooden door of barn sustained $300 in damages during break-in; one blower valued at $50 stolen; investigation ongoing.

■ 714 S.E. Greenville Blvd., 2-2:50 p.m. Feb. 8: five Polo shirts valued at $240 stolen from Belk; investigation ongoing.

■ 400 block West First Street, 10 p.m. Feb. 7-12:30 p.m. Feb. 8: break-in to vehicle reported; stolen items not listed; case inactive.

■ 3000 block Kingston Circle, midnight-5 a.m. Feb. 8: home entered forcibly through front window; stolen items not listed; investigation ongoing.

■ 2195 Evans St., 4:30 a.m. Feb. 6: Circle K robbed with a semi-automatic firearm; stolen items not listed; no injuries reported; investigation ongoing.

■ 3700 block Bostic Drive, 1-2:35 p.m. Feb. 5: one diamond earring and a pair of pearl earrings, all valued at $4,700, stolen from home; investigation ongoing.

■ 800 block South Memorial Drive, 1-1:35 p.m. Feb. 9: 52-year-old man assaulted; extent of injuries not reported; case inactive/warrants obtained.

■ 3000 block Clubway Drive, 4:15-5:30 a.m. Feb. 9: 26-year-old woman assaulted at home by boyfriend; 31-year-old man arrested and charged with two counts of assault on a female.

■ 200 block Oldwell Street, 8 p.m. Feb. 8: 20-year-old man assaulted by known person at home; case inactive.

■ 700 block West 14th Street, 8-8:06 a.m. Feb. 8: 22-year-old man assaulted in parking lot by offender with a semi-automatic handgun; moderate injuries reported; 25-year-old man arrested and charged with assault with a deadly weapon inflicting serious injury.

■ East Fourth Street and Reade Street, 1:49-2:05 a.m. Feb. 8: government official assaulted on road; victim details and extent of injuries not listed; 21-year-old man arrested and charged with assault on a government official.

■ 100 block Dansey Road, 10:13 p.m. Feb. 5: 30-year-old man assaulted with a deadly weapon at hotel by girlfriend; moderate injuries reported; 23-year-old woman arrested and charged with assault with a deadly weapon inflicting serious injuries.

■ 6800 block Sunflower Lane, near Grifton, 10-11:45 a.m. Feb. 9: one bicycle valued at $50 stolen from home; case closed/leads exhausted.

■ 2800 block Dickinson Avenue, 11 a.m. Nov. 8-11 a.m. Feb. 7: air conditioning unit valued at $3,000 stolen from home; case closed/leads exhausted.

■ 300 block East Littlefinger Road, near Ayden, 3:35-3:38 p.m. Feb. 8: air compressor valued at $100 stolen from home; case active.

Property Damage

■ 1600 block Sandstone Court, 6:08-6:09 p.m. Feb. 9: Jeep Grand Cherokee sustained $1,500 in damages; case active.

■ 7800 block N.C. 43 South, 12:01 a.m.-noon Feb. 10: home sustained $40 in damages; case unfounded.
