Police investigate shots fired into home by ex-boyfriend

A woman’s ex-boyfriend shot at her house while it was occupied, according to a case report released on Wednesday by the Greenville Police Department. 

The incident took place at 1:29 p.m. on Tuesday on the 3200 block of Moseley Drive, the report said.

No injuries were listed on the report. The woman was the only victim listed.

The report said an unspecified amount of water damage resulted from a bullet hole in a pipe. Further damages due to bullet holes in both the interior and exterior walls of the home were reported as well.

An investigation is ongoing.

Break-ins, thefts

■ 502 S.W. Greenville Blvd., 9:50-9:55 p.m. Feb. 19: a full display of 50 Bic lighters, all valued at $95, stolen from Speedway; investigation ongoing.

■ 210 S.W. Greenville Blvd., 9:30-9:40 p.m. Feb. 19: seven pairs of socks, all valued at $65.91, stolen from Walmart; arrest made.

■ 400 block Alice Drive, 7 p.m. Feb. 15-6 a.m. Feb. 18: two bicycles, each valued at $90, stolen from home; case closed/leads exhausted.

■ 3040 Evans St., 3-4 p.m. Feb. 18: one woman’s tank top, one pack of ink pens and two bottles of lavender oil, all valued at $37.97, stolen from Target; case closed/cleared by citation.

■ 3040 Evans St., 9 a.m. Feb. 18: two iPhone 6S and a spider cable and lock, all valued at $449.98, stolen from Target; case inactive/warrants obtained. 

■ 620 Red Banks Road, 2:30-3:45 p.m. Feb. 18: 19 items of meat and seafood stolen from Food Lion by hiding them under shirt; case closed/cleared by citation.

Assaults

■ 100 block Wellingham Avenue, 1-2:45 a.m. Feb. 20: 21-year-old man and age-unlisted female victim assaulted at home; extent of injuries not reported; arrest made.

■ South Memorial Drive and West Arlington Boulevard, 12:45 p.m. Feb. 19: 50-year-old man assaulted at gunpoint on road by known person; extent of injuries not reported; case inactive.

■ 1500 block Bridle Court, 11:50 p.m. Feb. 18-12:03 a.m. Feb. 19: 25-year-old woman assaulted at home by boyfriend; minor injuries reported; case inactive/warrants obtained.

■ 300 block Clarendon Drive, 10-10:30 p.m. Feb. 18: 56-year-old man assaulted by family member at family member’s home; extent of injuries not reported; 33-year-old man arrested and charged with four counts of simple assault.  

Property Damage

■ 4300 block Bostic Drive, 4:35-4:45 p.m. Feb. 19: black iPhone X Max sustained an unreported amount of damages after being stolen from woman by her ex-boyfriend and recovered; investigation ongoing.

■ 100 block Davis Street, 2-10 a.m. Feb. 19: four plastic drain pipes sustained $250 in damages; investigation ongoing.

■ 1200 block Fleming Street, 8:10 a.m. Feb. 19: window of home sustained $50 in damages from known person; case inactive.

■ 400 block South Greene Street, 2:30-3:08 p.m. Feb. 18: Nikon D3200 camera sustained $1,300 in damages; investigation ongoing.

■ 100 block East Fourth Street, 8 p.m. Feb. 5-2 p.m. Feb. 14: 2001 white Jeep Wrangler sustained an unreported amount of damage; case inactive.

Pitt County

The sheriff’s office released reports Monday with the following details and allegations:

■ 2500 block Big Oak Road, near Robersonville, 8:40 p.m. Feb. 16: 2015 silver Hyundai Tuscon valued at $14,500 stolen from woman by child; case cleared: offender in custody of other jurisdiction.

■ 1900 block Jackson Avenue, 10 p.m. Feb. 16:  article of clothing valued at $10, debit card and $20 in cash stolen from home by known person; case active.

■ 4600 block Whichard Road, 3 a.m. Feb. 16-2:54 p.m. Feb. 17: necklace valued at $8,400 stolen from home; case active.

■ 4800 block Calvert Street, near Grimesland, 12:01 a.m. Feb. 1-3:20 p.m. Feb. 15: three tire rims and an unspecified power tool, all valued at $500, stolen from home by known person; case active.

■ 2200 block Melonie Court, 4:45 p.m. Jan. 26-6 p.m. Feb. 15: water heater valued at $100 stolen from home; case closed/leads exhausted.

■ 3700 block James Street, near Bethel, 5:30 a.m. Feb. 16: 34-year-old woman assaulted at home by boyfriend; no injuries reported; case cleared: victim refused to cooperate.

■ 400 block Northwest Acres Drive, 3-3:05 a.m. Feb. 16: 37-year-old man assaulted at home by girlfriend; minor injuries reported; case active.

Property Damage

■ 1900 block L.T. Hardee Road, 9-9:15 a.m. Feb. 16: mail box sustained $10 in damages; case cleared: victim refused to cooperate.
