A Greenville man was one of two people arrested on Tuesday in connection with a 2017 robbery in which three people were killed.

Lenoir County deputies said Jaleik Pridgen of Greenville and Brianna Wooten of Kinston both were charged with accessory after the fact to a homicide.

Lenoir deputies responded to 308 W. Queen St. in La Grange for a report of shots fired on Nov. 12, 2017. They discovered the bodies of John Johnson Jr. and Roderick Gillette, as well as a third injured victim. Jerrell Pridgen, one of the suspects in the case, was killed during the robbery.

The Lenoir County Sheriff's Office previously arrested three others in connection with the incident: Terrance Outlaw Jr, Shonquez Robinson and Tiquon Brown.

Deputies said that Pridgen and Wooten helped to hide the guns used in the homicides and drove one of the suspects out of town knowing he had been involved in the deadly shooting. The two were jailed on $50,000 secured bonds.

The investigation is ongoing and deputies hope to identify any others who were part of the incident or aided the suspects after the incident. Those who have further information are asked to call the Lenoir County Sheriff's Office at 559-6140
