A firearm and a flat screen television were stolen during a residential break-in committed sometime earlier this week, according to a case report released by the Greenville Police Department. 

The incident took place between 1:30 p.m. on Saturday and 5:31 p.m. on Wednesday at a home located in the 2200 block of University Suites Drive, the report said.

The report said the home was entered through the front door. Items listed as stolen include a 32-inch television valued at $200 and a 12-gauge Ruger Hatfield firearm valued at $198.

An investigation is ongoing.

Electronics stolen

A home was forcibly entered through the back window during a break-in on Tuesday, according to a case report released by the Greenville Police Department.

The incident took place between 8 a.m. and 12:27 p.m. in the 600 block of Glendale Drive, the report said.

Items listed as stolen from the home include a PlayStation 4 gaming console, two PlayStation 4 controllers and an unspecified quantity of PlayStation 4 video games, all valued at $800.

An investigation is ongoing.

■ 100 block Breezewood Drive, 8 p.m. March 19-11:25 a.m. March 20: 2017 black Suzuki Grand Vitara motorcycle valued at $5,000 stolen; investigation ongoing.

■ 500 block Forlines Road, 2:30-3:34 p.m. March 14:  iPhone 6S Plus valued at $400 stolen from man; investigation ongoing.

■ 210 S.W. Greenville Blvd., 10-10:25 a.m. March 20:  16-ounce soda valued at $1.68 stolen from Walmart; investigation ongoing.

■ 3801 S. Memorial Drive, 4:02 p.m. Feb. 19-5 p.m. March 19: larceny reported at Walmart; stolen items not listed; case inactive/warrants obtained.

■ 500 block Forlines Road, 10:33 a.m.-12:05 p.m. March 19:  iPhone XS Max valued at $1,249.99 stolen from juvenile; investigation ongoing.

■ 300 block Southwest Greenville Boulevard, 11:15 a.m.-1 p.m. March 19: items of identification and debit cards of unlisted value stolen from unlisted location; investigation ongoing.

■ 4000 block Bluebill Drive, 8 p.m. March 14-7:30 a.m. March 19: garage door opener valued at $30 and parking pass valued at $50 stolen from vehicle; investigation ongoing.

■ 100 block Heritage Street, 9:07 p.m. March 18: four bank cards and purse valued at $9 stolen from vehicle; investigation ongoing.

Assaults

■ 1900 block Norcott Circle, 9:11 p.m. March 20: 19-year-old woman assaulted at home by child; extent of injuries not reported; investigation ongoing.

■ 3400 block Westgate Drive, 9:20-9:28 p.m. March 19: 45-year-old woman assaulted at home by boyfriend; minor injuries reported; iPhone 7 Plus valued at $400 also listed as stolen by boyfriend; case inactive/warrants obtained.

■ 100 block Greenfield Boulevard, 5:40-5:42 p.m. March 19: juvenile assaulted on road; extent of injuries not reported; investigation ongoing.

Property Damage

■ 3600 block Palmer Drive, 2:20-2:21 p.m. March 20: 2012 red Dodge pickup truck sustained $400 in damages from known person; case closed/cleared.

Pitt County

The sheriff’s office released reports Wednesday with the following details and allegations:

Break-ins, thefts

■ 2000 block East Hanrahan Road, near Ayden, 5:06 p.m. March 18: break-in to home by known person reported; stolen items not listed; case active.

■ 700 N. Greene Street, 11:49 p.m. March 18: 27 tires listed as sustaining $1,620 in damages from a knife at O’Neal’s Auto Salvage; case active.

Property Damage

■ 3400 block Yankee Hall Road, 3:14 p.m. March 18: one Apple Macbook Air sustained $2,000 in damages from person known to victim; case active.
