A man reported serious injuries after an assault with a deadly weapon on Thursday, according to a case report released by the Greenville Police Department. 

The incident took place between 10:15 and 10:40 p.m. on the road in the 600 block of Mumford Street, the report said.

The report indicated that the offender in the case was the victim’s ex-girlfriend. The weapon used was not specified.

In addition to the assault with a deadly weapon charge, the offender faces charges for assault inflicting a serious injury, according to the report.

An investigation is ongoing.

Firearm, TV stolen

A firearm and a flat screen television were stolen during a residential break-in committed sometime earlier this week, according to a case report released by the Greenville Police Department.

The incident took place between 1:30 p.m. on Saturday and 5:31 p.m. on Wednesday at a home located in the 2200 block of University Suites Drive, the report said.

The report said the home was entered through the front door. Items listed as stolen include a 32-inch television valued at $200 and a 12-gauge Ruger Hatfield firearm valued at $198.

An investigation is ongoing.

■ 105 S.W. Greenville Blvd., 12:20-12:30 p.m. March 20: radar detector valued at $22 stolen from Trade It and recovered; case inactive/warrants obtained.

■ 100 block Breezewood Drive, 8 p.m. March 19-11:25 a.m. March 20: 2017 black Suzuki Grand Vitara motorcycle valued at $5,000 stolen; investigation ongoing.

■ 500 block Forlines Road, 2:30-3:34 p.m. March 14: iPhone 6S Plus valued at $400 stolen from man; investigation ongoing.

■ 300 block Brighton Park Drive, 2:30 p.m. March 14-10 a.m. March 20: 2015 black Jeep Grand Cherokee sustained an unreported amount of damages; case inactive.

■ 3600 block Palmer Drive, 2:20-2:21 p.m. March 20: 2012 red Dodge pickup truck sustained $400 in damages from known person; case closed/cleared.
