About $300 in food items were stolen from a vending machine, according to a case report released by the Greenville Police Department.

The incident took place between 9:40 p.m. May 15 and 9:10 a.m. May 16 on the 2200 block of University Suites Drive.

The report did not specify if the vending machine sustained damages. Charged listed include larceny from a machine.

An investigation is ongoing.

■ 3900 block West Vancroft Circle, near Winterville, 7 p.m. May 15-11:35 a.m. May 16: eight packages of baby formula valued at $25, 14 jars of baby food of unlisted value and $100 in cleaning supplies stolen from home; investigation ongoing.

■ 1311 W. 14th Ave., 5 p.m. May 15-7:15 a.m. May 16: attempted break-in to Sutton Amusement Company reported; stolen items not listed; investigation ongoing.

■ 400 block Winslow Pointe Drive, 10 p.m. May 15-5:30 a.m. May 16: break-in to vehicle reported; personal documents of unlisted value stolen; investigation ongoing.

■ 100 block Lancaster Drive, 11 p.m. May 15-8 a.m. May 16: scratch off ticket valued at $25 stolen from vehicle; case inactive.

■ 100 block Brownlea Drive, 9:30 a.m.-5 p.m. May 16: Vizio flatscreen television, PlayStation 4 and Xbox One, all valued at $1,370, stolen from home; case inactive.

■ 2500 block Charles Boulevard, 6 a.m.-5:38 p.m. May 16: Phillips television, three sound systems, unspecified hygiene item, two iPhone 6S+s, Ugly Stick recreation device and an unspecified quantity of household goods, all valued at $2,427, stolen from home; investigation ongoing.

■ 100 block Fairline Road, 1 a.m.-3:15 p.m. May 16: $1,500 in cash and personal documents stolen from vehicle; investigation ongoing.

■ 2100 block Westminster Court, 10 p.m. May 15-8:30 a.m. May 16: $20 in cash stolen from vehicle; investigation ongoing.

Assaults

■ 100 block Howard Circle, 12:40 a.m. May 16: 23-year-old woman assaulted at home by boyfriend; no injuries reported; case closed/leads exhausted.

■ 200 block Manhattan Avenue, 6:10-6:15 p.m. May 16: 40-year-old woman assaulted by acquaintance; minor injuries reported; case closed/cleared.

■ 600 block Roosevelt Avenue, 7:50 a.m. May 16: 40-year-old man assaulted at home at gunpoint during a burglary; extent of injuries not reported; work pants valued at $8 stolen; investigation ongoing.

■ 2700 block East 10th Street, 5:05 p.m. May 16: 37-year-old woman assaulted by boyfriend; no injuries reported; investigation ongoing.

■ 100 block Poker House Road, near Grimesland, 8 p.m. May 12-7:38 a.m. May 13: Honda dirt bike valued at $1,000 stolen; case active.

■ 2200 block N.C. 121, 9 a.m.-5:30 p.m. May 13: gas can, copper wire, conduit bender and bush axe, all valued at $360, stolen from home; case active.

■ 1600 block Anderson Road, 6:21 p.m. May 13: 57-year-old woman assaulted at home by child; no injuries reported; case cleared: victim refused to cooperate.

■ 900 block Osborne Lane, 1:07 p.m. May 13: 30-year-old woman assaulted at home by known person; minor injuries reported; case active.
