Editor’s Note: Several items from 2018 were inadvertently published in Tuesday’s crime reports and listed as occurring on Saturday. The correct reports from Saturday, May 18, are included here today.

A man suffered severe lacerations from an assault with a deadly weapon at his home on Saturday, according to a case report released Tuesday by the Greenville Police Department.

The incident took place about 2:22 a.m. May 18 on the 100 block of Mosby Circle, the report said. The report listed both a knife and a handgun as being used during the assault. It did not specify how or where the victim’s injuries were sustained.

A black Taurus G2C firearm valued at $350 was listed as recovered from the scene. No arrests were reported. The case status was listed as inactive.

■ 3428 S. Memorial Drive, 12:53-1:10 p.m. May 18: one pair of Nike basketball shorts valued at $55 stolen from Academy Sports; case inactive.

■ 2800 E. 10th St., 1:06-1:10 p.m. May 18: two Mistic fruit punch drinks and four ice cream sandwiches, all valued at $2.25, stolen from Family Dollar; investigation ongoing.

■ 1715 Dickinson Ave., 6:46 p.m. May 18: two beef steaks valued at $17 stolen; 45-year-old man arrested and charged with misdemeanor larceny.

■ 210 S.W. Greenville Blvd., 6:46 p.m. May 18: unspecified items valued at $336.07 stolen from Walmart and recovered; 55-year-old man arrested and charged with misdemeanor larceny.

■ 2600 block Sunset Avenue, 9 p.m. May 17-7:30 a.m. May 18: $3 in coins stolen from vehicle; case inactive.

■ 700 block Bradley Street, 4:22-4:25 a.m. May 20: one small gray purse valued at $20 and $92 in cash stolen from woman by boyfriend; case inactive.

■ 100 block Lancaster Drive, 2 a.m.-3 p.m. May 16: $10 in cash and makeup valued at $250 stolen from vehicle; case inactive.

■ 3200 block Landmark Street, 9 p.m. May 18-9:45 a.m. May 20: one leather wallet valued at $10 containing bank cards and identification stolen from vehicle; case inactive.

■ 2609 E. 10th St., 1:01 p.m. May 20: personal hygiene items, one DVD and one pair of sneakers, all valued at $26.50, stolen from Dollar General; investigation ongoing.

■ 1800 block Rosemont Drive, 7:40 a.m.-3 p.m. May 20: glass window of home sustained $45 in damages during break-in; stolen items not listed; case inactive.

Assaults 

■ 400 block South Greene Street, 11:34 a.m. May 18: 18-year-old man assaulted at home by acquaintance; minor injuries reported; case inactive.

■ 100 block Toby Circle, 2:31 p.m. May 18: 20-year-old woman assaulted at home by sibling; minor injuries reported; case inactive.

■ 500 block East First Street, 9:30-9:42 p.m. May 18: 36-year-old man assaulted at home by girlfriend; minor injuries reported; investigation ongoing.

■ 500 block North Greene Street, 7:25-7:28 a.m. May 20: 32-year-old man assaulted; minor injuries reported; investigation ongoing.

Property Damage 

■ 500 block Spring Forest Road, 10:43 a.m. May 18: vehicle seat cover sustained $30 in damages; arrest made.

■ 300 block Horseshoe Drive, 4:57 p.m. May 18: vehicle sustained $100 in damages; investigation ongoing.

The Pitt County Sheriff’s Office released reports Tuesday with the following details and allegations:

■ 3200 block Whichard Road, 11 a.m. May 14-2 p.m. May 19: tractor valued at $130,000 reported stolen and found; case unfounded.

■ 2995 Mills Road, 9:04 a.m. May 17: one Google Chromebook valued at $500 stolen from Hope Middle School and recovered; case active.

■ 4800 block School Road, near Grimesland, 2-2:45 p.m. May 16: one dollar bill stolen from woman and recovered; case active.

■ 5600 block Sandy Ridge Road, near Washington, midnight May 2-8:37 a.m. May 17: electricity valued at $300 reported stolen from home and Washington Utilities; no further details provided; case active.

■ 1710 Belvoir Highway, 5:49 p.m. May 20: one pack of Oreos valued at $1.19 and one Black and Mild cigar valued at $1 stolen from Joe’s Country Mart; case active.

■ 400 block Jackrabbit Run, 10:09 a.m.-12:47 p.m. May 20: door and door frame of home sustained $200 in damages during break-in; one Playstation 4 valued at $400 and one Bing camera valued at $100 stolen; case active.

■ 500 block Weston Road, near Grimesland, 4:36 p.m. May 20: break-in to home reported; stolen items not listed; case cleared: victim refused to cooperate.

■ 300 block River Road Estates Road, 1-7:16 p.m. May 19: 45-year-old man assaulted at home; minor injuries reported; case unfounded.

■ 2200 block N.C. 33, 11:36 a.m. May 17: 71-year-old man assaulted on road; no injuries reported; case closed/leads exhausted.

■ 4000 Kings Crossroads Road, 6:45-6:55 p.m. May 18: structure of home sustained $300 in damages from a blunt object; case active.
