Sun and smiles have beamed at Clark-LeClair Stadium this week, helping to signal the start of East Carolina baseball holding its summer youth camp series.

The “CG23” camps, named for head coach Cliff Godwin, began Monday and Session 1 will wrap up today. Session 2 is July 17-21, and Session 3 is July 24-28.

The cost for a session is $190 for a half-day camper and $310 for a full-day camper.

Instructors include Godwin and the rest of his coaching staff, along with former and current ECU players. Activities include baseball Olympics and slip-n-slide to practice sliding into bases.
