Q: What’s another sport you think you could play?

A: I’m pretty good at soccer. I obviously couldn’t be on the women’s team (at ECU), but I’m pretty good at it. I don’t play (organized) soccer, but I’m pretty good with the ball and think I could maybe do it. Soccer with me just comes from elementary school and playground and gym-class stuff.

Q: You are a defensive back for the Pirates. When did you last play offense?

A: I used to always play quarterback. I also played a little wideout and running back my senior year (at Clover Hill (Va.) High School). Really I just played everything.

Q: Any good TV or Netflix shows you are watching?

A: I watch a lot of cartoons, just anything that is on. I’ll also just flip through movies or Netflix originals and that’s where we are at right now.

Q: What is your favorite cartoon?

A: Hey Arnold! That one is my favorite.

Q: You were a walk-on when you first got to ECU in 2013 and earned a full scholarship in 2015. What is difficult about being a walk-on?

A: Probably just not getting that check every month and your school books. With tuition, just knowing that’s always in the back of your mind and whatever you do, you are working toward something more.

DID YOU KNOW?

Fulp’s academic major is industrial distribution and logistics.
