Q: What is your favorite form of social media?

A: I would say Twitter. It’s more active, everybody is on Twitter. I like Instagram, too, but I like Twitter more.

Q: Where is your favorite spot to eat at in Greenville?

A: I will say Kickback Jacks. I like Kickback Jacks. I love their spinach dip and their grilled chicken wings.

Q: Who is someone on this ECU team who is on the receiving end of a lot of jokes?

A: (Junior linebacker) Aaron Ramseur. He’s a great player and he’s my roommate. Aaron does some crazy stuff; he’s just in his own world and that’s not a bad thing, but he’s a great guy.

Q: What’s your go-to pump song before you step onto the field?

A: I have a lot of those, because I’m a really hyped-up guy. I like listening to G-Eazy. I like “Balling’’ by him. I like listening to “Vibing’’ by Kodak Black, and “Stalling” by G-Eazy, too.

Q: Do you have any physical routines you like to do before games?

A: I’m not much of a superstitious guy. I believe in God. So nothing really physical for me, I just go out and get prepared to play football.

From 2017 to ‘18, Bivens’ rise to prominence as a starting linebacker on the ECU defense was best demonstrated by his tackle count. He made 10 total tackles in 2017, upping that number to 61 a year ago. He has 11 through two games this season.
