SERVICES

■ Anderson Chapel Missionary Baptist Church, 4352 Anderson Chapel Road, Macclesfield, will host Evangelist Margaret Knight at 11 a.m. Sunday. The church will have a watch night service at 10:30 p.m. Dec. 31 Guest speakers will include Knight, along with Minister Vernita Council-Howard and Pastor Malcom Lewis.

■ Come As You Are Christian Center, 4158 N.C. 33 West, will have a worship service at 10:30 a.m. Sunday with Minister Lonnie Whitehead. The annual Christmas dinner will be served at 3 p.m. Dec. 23. ■ Emmanuel Episcopal Church, 3505 S. Walnut St., Farmville, will host the greening of the church at 9 a.m. Sunday, followed by a worship service at 11 a.m. A soup and sandwich luncheon will be served afterward in the fellowship hall. A Christmas Eve service will be held at 11 p.m. Dec. 24.

■ Haddocks United American Free Will Baptist Church, 111 Sunset Acres Lane, will host Pitt Community College President Lawrence L. Rouse at 11 a.m. Dec. 23. Refreshments will be served.

■ Holly Hill Original Free Will Baptist Church, 755 Porter Road, will have quarterly meeting services this weekend. A Communion service will be held at 6 p.m. today, followed by a worship service at 10 a.m. Sunday.

■ House of Judah Church of God Ministries, 3867 W. Wilson St., Farmville, will host a men's fellowship meeting at 10 a.m. today. A Communion service will be held at 1 p.m. today with Evangelist Alice Joyner. Quarterly meeting services will be held at 11 a.m. and 3 p.m. Sunday. Lunch will be served following the first service. Pastor A.J. Jones and New Life Church of Snow Hill will be guests for the afternoon service.

■ New Beginnings Deliverance Center, 217 Queen Drive, will host a “Twelve Tribes of Israel” program at 4 p.m. today.

■ Sycamore Hill Missionary Baptist Church, 1001 Hooker Road,will host a food distribution from noon-2 p.m. Tuesday. A Communion service will be held at 10:40 a.m. Dec. 23., followed by the “Sing We All Noel” musical program at 5 p.m.

MUSIC & DRAMA

■ Landmark Church, 4657 U.S. Highway 13 South, will host a drive-through Nativity from 6-8:30 p.m. today-Sunday.

■ Ayden United Methodist Church, 460 Third St., Ayden, will host the Chancel Choir presentation of"The Glory of Christmas" by Lloyd Larson at 3 p.m. Sunday.. A reception will follow in the fellowship hall.

■ Black Jack Original Free Will Baptist Church, 2971 Black Jack Simpson Road, will host a Drive Through Nativity from 6:30-8 p.m. today-Sunday. Visit blackjackchurch.org.

■ Oakmont Baptist Church, 1100 Red Banks Road, will host the ensembles' Christmas concert at 6:30 p.m. Sunday. Combined worship services will be held at 11 a.m. Sunday, Dec. 23 and Dec. 30. Christmas Eve services will be held at 5 and 7 p.m. Dec. 24.

■ Our Redeemer Lutheran Church, 1801 S. Elm St., will host evening prayer on the fourth Sunday in Advent at 7 p.m. Dec. 23. featuring “My Soul Magnifies the Lord” Motets and the Magnificat Quinti toni of Hans Leo Hassler.

■ St. Paul’s Episcopal Church, 401 E. Fourth St., will host Evensong at 5 p.m. Sunday. The Advent program will feature a quartet of carolers from the church choir: Bobbie Bonnet, soprano, Melanie Moll, mezzo-soprano, Andrew Scanlon, tenor, and Peter Morey, baritone. The church will have a Christmas pageant at 5 p.m. Dec. 23. Christmas Eve services will be held at 3, 5 and 10:30 p.m. Dec. 24. A Communion service will be held at 5 p.m. Dec. 25.

■ Unity Free Will Baptist Church, 4301 Charles Blvd., will host the musical program Christmas on Charles Boulevard at 6 p.m. Sunday. The church will have a candlelight Communion service at 10:15 a.m. Dec. 23. Christmas Eve services will be held at 2:30 and 4 p.m. Dec. 24. The church will host meetings of GriefShare beginning Jan. 2. The support ministry for people grieving a death will meet from 6:30-8:30 p.m. Wednesdays for 13 weeks. Call 756-6485.
